Had a great first experience! The gentleman that helped me, Arturo, was very helpful and knowledgeable of shoes and shoe products. He made shoe buying fun!

I am so very disappointed with this store and their misguided attempt to maximize profits. I have been shopping Clarks stores at the various outlets for many years and this was the first time I was told I could not apply my VIP discount because of their ongoing sale of buying one pair and getting half off the second pair. They pointed out the disclaimer at the top of the discount book as their reason. I read the disclaimer many times over and it says that sales exclusive to that outlet can not be combined. Their sale is not exclusive to the Carlsbad outlet so they should have honored my discount of an additional 15% off my total bill. The manager Joe was a bit condescending in that he said he just came from the corporate office and that’s what they were told and the disclaimer up top meant that we could not take that coupon book to a different outlet. I feel now that I should have returned the shoes and shopped somewhere else now that I think about it. They lost me for a customer that’s for sure.

The staff here is so attentive and helpful. They are always running super deals which is a plus. Clarks shoes are of the utmost comfort and make my feet very happy. I am a repeat shopper at this location.

I have a narrow foot, which means I special order my shoes in many sizes through the mail to see what will fit and send back the extras. We arrived 15 minutes before closing and I bought two pairs of sandals before they locked the doors. I often get blisters from sandals because of improper fit and resort to wearing tennis shoes or my trusty clogs. I am happy to report that I walked all over Laguna Beach last weekend and had no blisters. I can now add sandals to my daily wear and I have a reason to paint my toenails!

I was surprised by the amount of shoes available in my size here. The slip-on styles were abundant and most were very comfortable for muh feets. Typical of the Clark brand, upper middle-tier shoes but at a sub-pricey Outlet price range. I have two other Clarks shoes and they’ve been very comfy, well made and perfect for going out or to work. Sales associates here were attentive and helpful. They put a pair of shoes I liked on hold while I continued to shop around the Outlets. I later returned to purchase before I went home. Lately, Nordstrom Rack’s selections of shoes have been lacking and I’m not prepared to drop almost $ 200+ for a pair from The Walking Company. Good thing Clarks Bostonian is around to fill this void.

I love Clarks — they are typically well constructed and very comfortable. Discovering this store was wonderful! They have a decent selection(especially considering that they’re an outlet) and really good prices. I picked up a pair of wedge sandals for $ 40! That’s not much more than would be spent at Target for a far more inferior shoe. Also, my child outgrew Stride Rite(sad!) and needed wide width shoes. With the help of Megan, we were able to locate a few pairs that would fit comfortably; she also took the time to point out which styles would be better for a wider width foot. I really appreciated the time she took and felt that she really cared. Her treatment of us is why I will be back!

Clarks are some of my and my husband’s favorite shoes — so well made and comfortable. Only issue is that they’re pricey. Which is why the Clark’s Outlet is perfect. Selection often isn’t quite as good as my usual Clarks store downtown, but always worth a stop.
