I love the atmosphere of the salon, it’s very warm and inviting. Everyone is super friendly and always smiling. I get my hair done by Susan Ward and she is an absolute genius! So lucky to have found this salon as I plan on coming back time and time again!

Very friendly, accomodating and affordable for color and cut! I’ve been going here for a little over half a year and no complaints! They really listen and take the time to get to know you and what you want as well as suggest what would be best for your skin tone, hair texture, etc.

I have had over a dozen Brazilian Blowouts and I can honestly say that no one performs them better than Susan Ward. A combination of reasons contribute to her expertise. To start with, she is certified and follows all the steps. Also, she uses a generous amount of the appropriate (Brazilian Blowout) products unlike others that skip because of cost. And speaking of cost, Susan charges half what I have paid other styles that were actually inferior to her. OK, the real test is how does it look and how long does it last. Well, I can tell you the results are fabulous and mine last for over 4 months. In addition, she is fantastic at cutting hair. Susan’s experience spans over 20 years and she received training in New York. And finally, she never pushes products on you. What a relief! Believe me, I’m a tough critic but I guarantee you will love your hair after Susan performs her magic.

Kristen is savvy, fun, incredibly talented and gets my hair right every time! I love this salon because it is kind and professional without being at all pretentious! The products in the retail are always well organized and what I need is always in-​stock! I regularly use Kristen to give me an amazing look for a night on the town. She also makes sure I have the latest cuts and color keeping me looking my best… But better yet… She keeps me up to date with the best styles. Wonderful place! I can’t recommend this salon highly enough!

I have been having Susan cut to color my hair for two years now. She’s very personable the prices were reasonable and I love the outcome. The salon is clean and down-​to-​earth.

Have been coming here for years and I not only consider Brooke an amazing hairstylist but a friend. I love their salon and the free coffee and treats they offer to all who enter. My hair is my pride and joy and Brooke knows how I like it long; she is perfect unlike many I had been to at other salons before her, when she says just and inch and a half trim to clean up the edges, she means it. She prides herself on making sure her clients are happy she has even recut my bangs free of charge when I decided a few days after my haircut that I actually wanted them short. She is amazing and I will continue to go to this salon for a very long time.

I am new to the area, and a great friend of mine referred me to DeStafanos. I couldn’t be happier with the friendliness, the atmosphere, the professionalism and experience of each stylist. Who can afford to act like this? I just left the crappy salon (dated, dirty and old!) Susan ward made an apt with me for 230 pm. I was at the salon at 200 pm — entered introduced my self to a slob at the front desk– no joke the first thing the stylist said to me– You know it is two o’clock– your apointment is at 230! WTF? I let Susan know I just came from downtown and did not want to be late-​so I was on time or early?! I asked if they had wifi– Susan just shook her head no and told me about all the work she had to get done before I could get my hair cut? Susan Ward can afford to act like an inconsiderate and rude hairdresser– go on– I will spend my 300.00 with another salon!

Susan gave me the best haircut I have ever had! I will continue to go here!

This is a great salon. A little hard to find the first time, but totally worth it. Nice staff and fantastic stylists. I got my hair cut and colored up here and it was seriously fabulous! I loved my cut so much! It’s worth the price! I’ve had some pretty bad hair cuts in San Diego and thankfully I found this place! Schedule early because they book up!
