Not epic at all, maybe epically priced for what you get. Tj mini tacos for 3 bucks each, side size nachos with very little toppings, and taco bell sized burrito for 10 bucks each. Everything is cold, cold cold, do they not cook it as you order it? Maybe just take forever to piece it together. If your going to charge so much, at least give us enough, and maybe have it warm.

With an amazing selection of great food all I can say is eat! I love the fish taco, and pretty much everything else I have tried on the menu. They used to do events at BMW of Vista which were really fun. I think food trucks offer a great variety of high quality food. Epic Eatz doesn’t disappoint and if the only one star review is for their driving, «Ken C.», then I guess it’s fair to say you should get down if you see their truck parking in a location near you.

Big ass truck Sees a yellow light speeds up Turns red and still jets through the light Is my green and he’s flying through the center of the intersection towards the onramp. Do you not understand the mass of that thing? You’d completely destroy any normal car like my Mazda 3

I had a fish taco and a potato taco. Both were delicious and the price was reasonable. The green sauce had a good kick too. Highly recommend.

Epic Eatz came to my office for lunch today, showed up and were set up on time. First I’d like to say that the owners were incredibly nice and social! It was difficult to decide on what to eat because their selection was so good. I decided on the surf and turf bowl which was amazing, they even added mushrooms! Probably the best food truck food I’ve ever had! Super flavorful, delectable and delish!

Epic eatz came out for a private event, Food was great and I would recommend the Mahi MahiTacos. Service could have been quicker, a second cook-prep person would solve the issue but the order times were not overly excessive, and the food was hot and fresh. I would recommend and have them back again in the future.

Epic Eatz came to my sons birthday and the Service and food was great. I would have Epic Eatz come out again, they made the party fun and less stressful. Thank you Epic Eatz for making the party amazing.

Horrible customer service!!! I hired epic eatz to cater an event and they did not serve what was promised. I paid extra to have fish tacos served along with chicken and al pastor tacos and the fish was not served. The guest were only offered chicken and pastor tacos. When we asked the owner of epic eatz about this discrepancy he said that the fish was available but no one asked the servers. How were my guest supposed to ask when it wasn’t an option to them? Horrible horrible customer service!!! I will not hire them again and nor will I recommend them to anyone!!!

Can’t tell you if their food is good or not. We booked these guys weeks in advance to come out to our brewery, made up poster ads and heralded their pending arrival on Facebook. They didn’t show up, never gave us any notice, just disappointed a lot of our customers. These guys are flakes. Unreliable. Find another food truck.

They came to a community gathering last night in Fallbrook. I got the epic nachos and they were anything but«epic». I don’t do cilantro so the nachos were exceptionally boring. It was meat, cheese and sour cream. ANDTHECHEESEWASNOTEVENMELTED! Could have let that slide if they tasted good, I mean who doesn’t like cheese even when cold. No salsa, queso, beans, guac or anything to jazz it up. And all of this crap for $ 10. Will definitely never eat their food again. I can make better nachos at home in the microwave. I gave them 2 stars because my husband got the 3 meat quesadilla and said it was pretty good. He at least got melted cheese. I also got the veggie bowl for my kids and it was just meh. Bell peppers on top of rice, real creative.

Absolutely horrible service and overpriced for not even mediocre food! Gave me loaded chips instead of the fries that I ordered and when I took them back they scraped the toppings off the chips on to a order of cold fries!

Came across the Epic Eatz truck up in North County at a festival and wanted to try their Cali Burrito. Unfortunately, they were out of fries. Now, this wasn’t a crazy busy event and they really didn’t have a lot of different other options so when they run out of fries this is a problem. The second option was the Epic Nachos. I give Epic Eatz credit for not just serving up bagged tortilla chips, rather they used fresh fried chips. Meat was Chicken and the presentation was completed with lines of sour cream, cheese sauce, and a bam of cilantro. The group decision on the Nachos was«just okay». Reviews are either 5 stars or 2 stars. So consistency is an issue.

This food truck comes to the business park that I work in, in Carlsbad every week and I love it! Their food is delicious and great quality and the guys that work the truck are always super friendly. Everything tastes so fresh. I highly recommend!

Holy Food Truck Fusion Batman! The name of this gourmet on wheels is not boastful by any means. Epic Eatz is a suitable nom du voyage. On my weekly Tasty Truck Tuesday excursion, I was delighted to see the offings on this truck’s menu board. Having been spoiled by such mobile eateries as Kogi and Don Chow during my imprisonment. er… I mean, brief stint in the city of Angles, I have been hard pressed to find another fusion truck of the Asian persuasion to satisfy my critical(yeah right) palate. I ordered the teriyaki yaki and Kalua pig tacos. Both were on point. All though I’m sure my Kalua pig was not slow roasted in an Imu, this pork was melt in your mouth delicious and perfectly seasoned. My Yaki taco was equally as satisfying with great japanese inspired flavors. Yet another truck I need to add to my Twitter feed.

We were told that our food would be ready in 10 mins… we waited for more than 25 mins… and still no food. Finally the food was ready, and not everything was hot… very confusing! They also ran out of chicken and salmon… maybe they weren’t prepared for the number of people that showed up at the event… a bit disappointing. Food itself was OK. I would have given 3 stars if the food was hot.

Unfortunately, due to cold food and extremely long wait times, I can’t share the same enthusiasm about Epic Eatz as the other reviewers. Epic Eatz happened to be at Green Flash Brewery when I was there last night, and my friends and I thought we’d grab some munchies for our brews. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Yellowtail Fish Taco and the Kalua Pig Taco. One friend ordered a taco and Halibut Ceviche, and other friends ordered burritos. I tried to order chips and salsa as well, but were told they were out. It was not even 7:00pm and they were already out of chips and salsa! I don’t really hold this against them, though. We were all quoted 10 – 15 minute wait times, which seems long. I think I probably did get my food after about 15 minutes, but my friend had to wait more like 20 – 25 minutes to get her Halibut Ceviche. The burritos took close to 30 minutes. Even though I grabbed my food as soon as my name was called, it was all stone cold. Everything seemed like it was tasty, but cold tacos with cold meat are not very appealing. I was also surprised at the Yellowtail taco– I had hoped for a seasoned, grilled fish, but instead it was battered and smothered in sauce. The fish was a disappointing, dry chunk that I couldn’t even tell was fish. The Halibut Ceviche was pretty sad as well, mostly because there was just this little tiny amount served on top a very large portion of chips. And that took 20 minutes to serve?! Overall I was not very pleased with my experience. I would consider giving them a second chance to see if it is better next time…

I wanted nachos, which are displayed on their menu, but they weren’t serving nachos. wonderful. So yea, they have food listed on the menu, aren’t serving it and don’t seem to care… yea the guy kinda had a crappy attitude about it… ok then. I went for the cheesesteak instead and regretted it. The meat kinda looked like dog food. I saw other people order tacos and chips and salsa even, and it looked way better than my cheesesteak. I might go back to try the nachos that I had wanted in the first place or a taco if i’m really hungry… really really hungry. Hopefully I won’t regret it. By the way, they accept plastic. I had originally thought it might be cash only, so I dabbed on a second star for that.

Thank you Epic Eatz for the great food at my daughter’s elementary school’s open house. There was another«unmentioned» food truck who started to close shop because they felt they were being undersold during the event. Epic Eatz delivered good service and great food. The Spicy Crab & Crispy Wahoo Torta was outstanding. The Sweet and Sour Yellowtail Fish Taco and Beef Teriyaki Yakima Taco were very good as well. Epic Eatz will definitely be considered for future endeavors!

3.75 I’ve had Epic Eatz twice — the first time my mind was blown by their lomi lomi tacos. Three mini tacos in fried wonton taco shells filled with seasoned raw salmon and cabbage with some sort of tasty sauce. Underneath, sesame oil/vinegar dressed slaw. So Good. The second time I dragged my fiancé to Carlsbad to check them out at the beach. We ordered the lomi lomi tacos(which tasted different, won tons were a little over done and no dressing on the slaw beneath), nachos(which were hearty and good for the most part, but some of the chips were horribly over salted. The ones that we’re were delicious though), and sweet and sour fish tacos(pretty good). I was sad, because while it was still good, just not up to par to my first experience.
