Extremely poor customer device experience. Very rude and unprofessional treatment by staff and management personnel. Lots of excuses and reasons for why service was so unsatisfactory (Instructed to call back to the store, she was the manager, then her manager was very busy, etc…) Staff was very reluctant in allowing customers to speak with the day supervisor/​manager. Will escalate further.

Oceanside, CA
As an ‘80s child, this store reminds me of the corner music shops we had back home. Of course back then most places still carried vinyl LPs and cassettes were the staple media for all things music — can you say mixed tap?. CDs you ask? They were the newest thing on the market, but mostly just skipped a lot. I think dinosaurs may have still roamed the earth back then…
As to f.y.e, I really like this store. They carry a wide range of music and I can always find movies that no one else has even heard of let alone would carry. As a regular customer over the course of many years, dropping by the store at least once a month, I think that their best feature are the staff. They have always been helpful and knowledgeable about their products and they have always been great about any returns that I wanted to make.
This store and the comic book store are the only reasons I even bother going to the mall.

Very AWESOME customer service. I have no idea why people have a problem with the costumer service here. Everyone there has always been beyond nice to me! They have a wide selection of cheap movies, CDS, etc. My husband goes here every weekend because he is a movie fanatic and its always a nice like shop. We enjoy it!

I miss music store like this because this is what I grew up on. There was only one female employee who was very friendly but also busy which is good. I hate to see employees on their damn cellphone when they should be helping me. She was actually working so that’s a plus in my book.
I browsed around then went to the rap section to see what they had. I was surprised to see that they had some pretty good deals. They also had a pretty big rap section which is kind of unusual. There is also a wall of some pretty cool shirts that were buy one get one half off.
I never really heard of this music store but for what it was it wasn’t that bad. I only saw about six people in there if this was in the early 2000’s this place would’ve been jammed packed. I’m giving them a 3.5 stars.

F.Y.E is well stocked with new and older CDS and DVDs. They have a used section as well. The prices are reasonable. It’s really fun to hunt and browse for music and movies. The Carlabad mall is doing renovations but I hope this store stays.

Ladera Ranch, CA
Their customer service here sucks and the staff are jerks but they do have a great selection of new and used music and movies some of which are hard to find! Just be sure to check your receipt to make sure you were charged the right price they tried to overcharge me for one of the movies I bought! The only reason they are getting 3 stars is because of the amount of awesome merchandise!

This store is AWFUL!!! They are rude, unhelpful and they do not honor their products. Would not take a return on a broken iPod speaker days after the purchase. And watch out… they will sign you up for their monthly membership and you won’t even know it il it is being debited from your account. I would advise everyone to shop somewhere else and steer clear of this cruddy place
