Ginger Snips

Ginger from Ginger Snips was amazing! It’s really hard to find someone who can do red ombré and have it look really good. She not only took the picture that I had, but made it my own. I can’t wait to see what other amazing things she will do to my hair!

Searched everywhere until I found ginger snips. I’m so thankful I did. Not only did she fix my hair but she hooked me up with a better than expected hair style. Ginger is super friendly and so professional. I would recommend coming here every time. Can’t wait to go back. Love ginger and thank you.

I moved to SD a few years ago and way back then I stopped in to a random place to get color and cut as I was past due. I have been with Ginger ever since and I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am with her. She knows her stuff, she knows her products, she tells it like it is, and can cut and color hair with the best of the best. She is loaded with personality and I just trust her to make me look far better than I am. I have my whole family with her. Seriously, she knows hair, color, and she listens and remembers what you do and do not want. She also has an uncanny ability to instinctively know what looks great on you.
5 stars for her! If I could give her 10 stars I would do that as well!

I have been going to Ginger «Ginger Snips» for my color and cut and have been extremely happy. My hair is thick straight and fine she has taken me from black to brown to red all without damaging my hair. I purchased her Mothers Day special for my niece and sister. Both have long thick frizzy hair. My niece went from ash blond/​brown to blond with a contemporary cut and blunt bang. My sister was a color correction/​layered cut corrected. Both were extremely happy with the results achieved by Ginger. I have referred other friends and they have been equally happy with her service.
I used to drive up to The Lab in LA to have my hair done but going to Ginger I am able to get that hip vibe in Carlsbad. I love that Ginger continues to take classes to stay at the top of her game. I love that she offers quality hair products for sale in the salon that you can’t get at target. And, I love that she teaches me how to use the products that she sells me. What a concept! Now I can do my hair at home and it looks like i went to the salon.

I really like that Ginger listens until she understands what you want. I normally bring in pictures and then we discuss a plan of action. In order not to damage my hair sometimes we do the color in stages. I think its really important to have realistic expectations. Ginger understands the science of great color so she guides me through the process. Once when we were pulling black my hair was a little uneven — Ginger invited me back and re-​did it even though this was due to my hair not her service. Very few stylist offer this level of customer service. She’s an absolute doll.
I have followed her from another location and am excited to see her venturing out on her own. I’m look forward to helping her build her business in the new location.
She is very friendly and conversational. She goes the extra mile which is a rarity these days, Lastly, her prices are reasonable. The new place has great freeway access and convenient parking.
