I went through a rough custody, visitation, child support move away case where the father of my child was constantly sending harassing messages and purposely going out of his way to make me seem like a horrible unsupportive mother in which I never knew he felt this way until i decided not to remove his child support when I move to another state. Tammy was there for me in many ways guiding and counseling me that you cannot change other people and to try not to pay attention to those false insulting claims/​statements the father of my child made constantly throughout the almost 1 year trial. These 2 are pure souls who want whats best for you and will fight til the end with you. Thomas rocked and hit the judge with 100% supporting facts on both of my court cases and had all proof of records/​documents ready. I would highly recommend this law office. Divorce process speed — great.
I spent two years trying to do it myself; went in their office and was divorced within weeks. Such a relief to have that paper work done.
BUT Unfortunately it’s been several months (nearly 6) — I’ve made contact many times and for some reason am STILL waiting on my legal name change to revert back to my maiden name.
I don’t know whyyy it’s not done yet, and its upsetting me, falling through the cracks, like that part of my case is unimportant. But let me say, I paid my fee in full on time, this was part of the job and I hope it’s done soon or I am at least in some way acknowledged.
It’s embarrassing having to constantly explain to family and friends and my new boyfriend, that yes I am legally divorced — why do I still have his name? Well because that part of the job I paid for just hasn’t gotten finished.
This is disrupting my life even at my job — I have a name plaque that doesn’t match my paperwork name (The CEO wanted one on my desk and wasn’t gonna pay for a new one when my name changed); co-​workers who notice my email is different than the name on the plaque ask why and I have to tell them I’m divorced instead of being able to keep it private, because its personal.
HR constantly asks when I am going to be able to update my records since I let them know when I was hired 5 months back that it would be changing soon. Now I’m well known to our customers since my work email is my full name, and everyone who emails me will have to update it and know the change. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if people congratulate me on marrying when my last name finally changes since they wont necessarily know better.
I shouldn’t have to deal with a bit of this. I was told that my request to change my name was missed; then they were short handed delaying my papers. Now, I don’t know. But I’m fed up with the drama it’s causing me.
If this is where you need to come, sure it’s fine, because this issue aside it was good working with them. But there is a level of professionalism I didn’t see that’s expected from lawyers, & that is disappointing,

Going to family court is very stressful, and emotionally draining, however after praying to the Almighty I was lead to consult with Thomas and Tammy and they took the time to answer my many questions, and they assured me and comforted me that I was going to be fine and so was my child. I would call them at odd times and they would return my call promptly and have very well thought out perfect answers to all the problems that arose. I won my case thanks to them and the Almighty. They gave me the confidence and strategy to allow that to happen. Wow ! is all I can say they give lawyers a great name. Thanks so so very much !

Working closely on a family law case with a relative, I am personally appalled by the quality of representation he received from this firm. In my opinion, their lack of even knowing who he was with each interaction with no personalized care, was just the tip of the iceberg. Seeing the actual work they did, the billable hours, being invoiced for work not done, and the results of him paying support that is a quarter of his salary (based on a case that should have easily been won by him had he had true legal help on his side), I would personally go to the California Bar if I’d hired them. Perhaps that is still a possibility. (All is clearly documented.) I’ll leave out the gory details of interactions with this firm, including my own. Suffice it to say, it was a nightmare dealing with them. And, to have poor results on top of inflated billing is an expensive nightmare.
