I’ve been going to this day spa for 11 years before I moved south. The spa has a new owner but everyone is just as nice. Danielle is very sweet and gives excellent customer service. Their products are good (chemical free) and the massages are awesome. They have monthly specials so the treatments are not expensive.

I have been meaning to write a review for years — and finally am getting to it.
Such a lovely little spa tucked away in a strip mall.
If you are looking for a facial, Virginia is the best I have been to in San Diego. She has the softest touch, and is totally knowledgable about skin types and products.
The inside of the salon is really cute — with zen like rooms and tea and water upon arrival. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, calm, relaxing, peaceful, serene, feel-​good. Ocean Day Spa is truly an oasis. Step out of the strip mall/​business center and into luxury pampering at competitive prices. Facials with Virginia are pure bliss and skin comes out beautiful. Massages with any of the therapists release every last nasty knot. Acupuncture with Alyssa is a unique, energizing experience. There is just no way to go wrong here. Arrive a few minutes early to decompress and enjoy a cup of delicious complementary tea before your treatment. If you’re looking for a spa and narrowing down your choices as you’re reading these Unilocal reviews, look no further. Call Ocean Day Spa, book a treatment, and you’ll never look back.

Amazing quality! I’ve been going to spas all over the world & since a teenager, this place is such high quality in every way possible. I’ve been to famous spas with the prices 2x & 3x more expensive, and got very poor quality. You must try services here & discover for yourself the difference it makes to go to a top notch place that does everything right!

I love this place!!!
The spa is in a strip mall but as soon as you walk in you completely forget that.
I’ve had multiple massages and facials, all of which have been amazing. Everyone is friendly and very peaceful — not rushed. I’m a fan of the monthly specials and the random offers through SpotOn. Definitely worth every penny.
I have to admit — I have not been when the hair salon has been busy so I’ve never heard anything disrupting that other reviews mention.

A hidden gem! Great massage for someone who has stress, knots, neck tightness etc. as the team works to your needs. They have a variety of massages that include hot stones and cupping too. And the pricing is SO reasonable! The place is clean and staff is very kind. Only drawback is the turnover of the staff — but luckily they keep replacing with very high qualified team members. We recommend Vidi for power and Keri the owner if she is available. Or the other Carrie if she ever decides to come back to the profession!

Ocean Day Spa is hands down one. of the best Massage Spas in San Diego. From the moment you walk in, it is pure relaxation and you’ll be pampered in every possible way. The staff is caring and goes out of their way to make sure that your treatment is special. Kerry, who is also the owner. is a gifted genius at massage. She has a way of really getting into the knots in your muscles and getting them to release all the stress and tension from your body. The sessions are transformational. I highly recommend Ocean Day Spa, you’ll love every minute!

I came here with 3 of my closest friends and I got a massage and facial! Since it was me and my friends birthday, they gave us a special deal !
What a great calming environment. Everyone here is so friendly, seriously very relaxing. They offer you tea when you wait, the «get gorgeous» tea was a floral hibiscus, very tasty !
I missed the ladies name who helped me get relaxed, but they were the best ! She gave me a few samples on my way out, what a sweet gesture !
Definitely coming back with my girls !

This little hidden gem in Carlsbad is my all time favorite little sanctuary to escape to a few times a year to get completely pampered from head to toe! The ladies at Ocean Day Spa always have that special attentiveness and care with each of their clients! Their massages are customized to your needs and I have never been disappointed! Their wonderful service makes you want to keep coming back for more! This is the ideal little place to have the perfect zen experience while sipping a delicious cup of their hot tea and chilling in their small lounge while you listen to soothing music or enjoy reading one of their inspirational books! Definitely deserves a 5 star review!

I absolutely LOVE this spa. I will not go anywhere else. This small little business is a little gem and I just love everything about it, the staff, the ambiance, the prices and the service are all just amazing. Ashley has done my facials and Michelle has given me some of the best massages. They offer monthly specials which are a killer deal on pricing and by far some of the best in the area. The products they use are really good and they can fit you in for appointments really quick. I’ve been coming here for years and I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Got a facial tonight with Alyssa and it was the BEST FACIAL EVER. I’m kinda picky with touch and Alyssa just has the best hands! My skin feels awesome and I left very satisfied and even booked my next facial! Can’t wait! It was also my first time at Ocean Day Spa and it’s super nice, has a very good zen and serenity vibe! Gal at the front desk was also very welcoming :)

This place is amazing. I’ve been coming here for years and I love how they ask me everytime I come in what I need that day. They don’t assume it’s the same problem every time like other spas. They are quick to make appointments and have amazing prices. I was bummed when Diane left, but all the other girls are just as great. I went in once with a horrible migraine and Ashley made it go away in an hour! That girl knows her stuff! I made this place my go to when I have pain and I recommend it to everyone.

What a truly wonderful place! I decided on a dual massage/​facial evening for myself and I was very much impressed by the services received. Alyssa and Ashley were both highly skilled, knowledgeable and friendly, and I recommend them both enthusiastically! The atmosphere of the spa is very warm, down-​to-​earth and relaxing, and I can’t wait to return!

As a former massage therapist I can be a tough customer. I know have pretty high standards. I also recognize when the quality of training or experience isn’t there. I have seen Ashley a few times now and that girl really knows her stuff. Don’t let her size fool you… She is a powerhouse. If you want a some restorative work done I highly recommend her. I have not used any of the other services myself, but my mother goes monthly for facials and swears by them.
Ocean day spa doesn’t have a ton of bells and whistles but if you are looking for a quality treatment you will find it here. Plus they seem to retain talent from what I can tell and that says a lot.

HELLOOOO SERENITY!
This place is the epitome of relaxation… Soothing sounds, ambiance, hot tea and amazing massage therapist! I received a birthday gift for a massage here and it was just what I needed! I felt completely comfortable and at ease while all my worries and tension was massaged away! They have tons of services available and resonable prices. They also have a rewards card that can lead to goodies like free ad-​ins to treatments. I highly recommend this place and will continue to seek meditation through soothing massages and heated rocks and towels.
