I had Don print a dozen 8×10 giclee prints of my original acrylic art. The majority of the images turned out fantastic. Three of the prints had some inconsistencies in the color, which I pointed out to him and he was very apologetic. He had them reprinted and ready to pick up two hours later. He even gave me a print on the house to compensate my time. The quality of his printing is very good and his prices are the lowest I have found for this type of service. I will use him again.

I have used Photo Art for over four years. Don has done numerous photo restorations for me. What a great job he has done removing watermarks and other nasty stuff that happens to photos over the years. Even old color photos have gotten color restored or brightened to a great degree. When I come to Don he brings his program up and showed me what the print would look like. True to what was shown to me, the prints came out great. It wasn’t just scanning old photos, I had several on a thumb drive that I wanted put on canvas. Same procedure, Don downloaded them to his program and showed me how they would look. On one of them the color looked a little washed out, He was able to brighten it up a bit and clean up color. It looked so much better. When I got the canvas I was so pleased, it looked just like the photo in the program. His prices are great compared to some others I had spoken to when researching for a restorer. He delivers on time and wants to have you happy. I will continue to use him and have recommended him to others. He delivers a great product.

I’m an amateur photographer and was referred to Photo Art by another local photographer for his printing services. I had Don make a 44″ color print on canvas and was disappointed in the color rendition of the golden Fall color of a large grouping of Aspen trees that framed the image. I did not request a hardcopy proof before the large print was made, my mistake. After taking the print back to Don to express my dissatisfaction with the work I could tell he was not going to be obliging in offering either a reprint or some monetary compensation — this was $ 190 for the single print. When we discussed the ‘proof print’ his comment to me was«sure, I’d be glad to do that, and at no charge for a large job like this» — again, partly my fault for not requesting this ahead of time but I was perturbed to hear that comment ‘after the fact’. This is the first and will be the last print I have done at Photo Art of Carlsbad.
