Working in health care I take care of people all day. Today I witnessed the staff of this restaurant exhibit respect, patience, and understanding in helping a customer compose her order, get her condiments, and take her to her car. I waited for a while but decided to run an errand next door and then came back. The staff apologized to me for the wait earlier and thanked me for coming back. I was so impressed. We’re all in such a hurry. It’s nice to see people being kind to each other. The food was good too.

This location is not the most convenient, but the freshly made food is delicious. The portions are large and if served in boxes, you can easily take some leftovers home.

Terrible service. The place was not busy at all and they still left out something I ordered and paid for. Upon calling back and explaining the missing food and the inconvenience of the whole thing, they simply offered to mail out a coupon for JUST the wantons that they left out. So, I get the wantons I paid for, only later, and after having my original meal ruined, and have to order again to get them, and go through the aggravation. Hardly worth the price. GETITTOGETHER.

Had the most disgusting Teriyaki Chicken with Veggies. All you could taste was the grill char on the Chix & Veggies & it was drown in sauce too. Would never go back.

Pick Up Stix has always hit the spot for me. It’s not the best Asian food, but it’s pretty decent… I’ve had much worse. I ordered the Teriyaki chicken and Brown rice. I really liked the flavor of the chicken and well, the brown rice is brown rice… it’s pretty hard to screw that up. Docked 1 star due to the fact that they started the closing cleaning duties at 8:30… 30 minutes before closing. If you still have paying customers I feel like it’s extremely rude to start cleaning around them.

Definitely a lot better tasting than I expected. Between this and Panda Express, pick up stix is definitely fresher. The pad thai was full of flavor and delicious and well worth the price. The Mongolian beef on the other hand was super saucy and sweet; still ate the whole box though. Overall, the entrees were really good but the pricing is very high. I think the pad Thai is worth the dollar amount but not necessarily the Mongolian beef. But everything was freshly made and not sitting out on a tray and then served. We’ll be back, we joined the Pick Up Stix coupon club :)

Service is always great here. The salmon salad I had was so good! I love the decorum here. The restaurant part itself looks very clean, however, the bathroom was disgusting! And they don’t have a changing table in the bathroom for my baby! That definitely won’t keep me from coming here, but it should definitely be changed.

The food were either too salty, too sweet or too bland. Horrible! Won’t ever go back there!

food is great BUT they don’t deliver and you can’t even pay online. their credit card machine and online ordering was down so that was extremely inconvienient. The only highlight of the night was the girl that answered my phone call three or four times ha ha her name was Brittany and she is a great employee. Keep her around!

Stix has gone 0⁄2 on me in the last week. Their food is solid. I’ll explain my customer service snafus to show you why I won’t be going back to this location, even after coming here for the last 2 years. 1) Busy weeknight. Placed order in-store for takeout. Waited 30 minutes. No food. Phone ringing off the hook. People with phone/online orders picking up food. I ask where my food is, get a blank stare from the cashier. No apology. I demand a refund and leave empty-handed. Their food is good, but it’s not worth 30+ minutes waiting. 2) Slow weekend afternoon. Bought a $ 40 gift card that came with a $ 10 bonus offer, intending to use the gift card(but not the free bonus) to buy food. Was informed that I couldn’t use the gift card at time of purchase. Seems silly, but I’ll play along. I leave and place a phone takeout order to pick up later. Same guy recognizes me and refuses to accept the gift card as payment, because he invented a new rule that the gift card can’t be used on the same day as it was purchased(not just the same time). I tell him I won’t be coming back, and he says, fine, «it’s not my restaurant.» Lessons: there is only 1 way to get food here. Order online for takeout. Minimize the interactions with the staff and therefore the potential for screw ups. I won’t be coming back on principle.

Chelsea E. is right. Before the grand re-opening(which has been happening for months), this place was the place to go if you needed mediocre Chinese food and were not willing to drive down to El Camino to get it. Just stopped in, and for $ 27 I got a perfectly horrible two entrees plus noodles. Small, partly full boxes with too-salty and oily food, employees chatting and fooling around apparently unsupervised. Hopefully a new place will open in this spot soon.

Just bought the sweet and sour chicken and it was the most disgusting sweet and sour chicken I’ve ever had. Before their«grand opening» it was much better. The sauce had the same consistency as water and the chicken was soggy. The sauce was pure sugar, they over did the sweet and no sour. I felt like I was eating some type of disgusting dessert. I don’t remember there being pineapple in the sweet and sour chicken before the«grand opening» but maybe I just noticed it more because it made an already extremely sweet sauce even sweeter, if that’s even possible. It was soo disgusting and overpriced. I wish I went to Panda Express and I don’t even like Panda Express. The only reason I’m giving one star is because I also got vegetable rolls and they weren’t completely awful but weren’t that great either. Never eating here again!

Ordered beef and broccoli… there were maybe 4 paper thin stringy pieces of beef… and 90% vegies… way to sweet. Kung Pow was also a big disappointment/rice is terrible. Blah!!!

We ordered the Beef and Broccoli. They should call it Beef and Carrots, small amount if Broccoli. The sauce is way too sweet, carrots very thick not tasty. There is a Thai place that serves delicious Broccoli nearby, no need to return here.

While I am not a huge fan of fast food, I do like Pick up Stix over Panda, which is way to greasy. I love the online ordering interaction — simple, easy and efficient. Food was there when I arrived. Normally you have to wait 10 – 15 min, so the online ordering interface is perfect. Cants give it 5 stars, because it’s a a corporate chain, but all in all a good place.

My first few experiences at this location were not good. I’m not sure if they have new managers or if someone came in and whooped some booty, but now they are one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in North County. Their crispy honey chicken, beef broccoli and chicken and vegetables are my favorite. This is in order of calorie count too. You can be as healthy as you want to be here. Their wontons are through the roof good. When you get the lunch special, the portions are perfect AND you get two wontons. They have a great rewards program too. Ten visits equal a free meal and I am always getting texts from them with great specials.

I love the new online ordering. I am able to place my order down to the last detail on the computer from work and then pick it up in a matter of minutes. Their online ordering system allows you to order white meat versions of their chicken dishes, add sides, and in some cases add extra items or adjust spiciness. You can add water chestnuts to the soup or get steamed dumplings instead of fried. When I come in to pick up my lunch, the same employee is there to greet me, remind me to get napkins/utensils, and then tells me to have a great day. I don’t know his name, but one day he wasn’t there, and I was kind of sad to not see his cheerful face. Another cool thing about online ordering is that you pay online too. I literally come in, tell them my name and leave with my bag of delicious and healthy food, packed nicely in a sectioned luncheon container. Lovely! Also, the 25 cent wonton day is genius. Their wantons are absolutely delicious, so visit on a Wednesday!
