My first experience at this location was the only one I needed to know that this place is awesome! The vibe is exactly like the one near the coast and the environment is very friendly. The upstairs bar/dining area is exceptionally awesome, feels a little more exclusive than the downstairs dining area. The bartender was very nice and patient on my buddies and I tasting a few beers before making a decision and the food was prepared very quickly after we ordered it. Definitely see myself coming back.

Love coming to this location. It’s great because it has lots of games for the kids, also the biggest pizza port in San Diego. The crew is always nice and Daniel is super nice. I have been going to the other locations but I think I will be making this one my main spot. Also can’t go wrong with the selections of local brews.

Food was good, the usual pizza &10cent wings, but the service at the upstairs bar was awful. I said I wouldn’t be able to walk if I had a 15% abv beer the server was describing. He immediately got on the defensive & said«I can’t serve you you said you can barely walk!» I am ok with that, he thought I was admitting to being intoxicated, & doing his job. I had just come from a boxing class so I wasn’t drunk, but I wasn’t ordering alcohol anyways. What my hubby and I DIDN’T appreciate was his rude behavior and not asking us how our meal was at any point. Usually we sit at the bar downstairs and the bartenders are so friendly and fun. The upstairs bartender tonight was not on his game. Never had anyone rude before. Even if I had been intoxicated, there’s no reason to be rude. Some of the servers were playing a game in the back & came out w/their beers saying they got off early. And our bartender, along with those servers, return shots of beer and talking and joking, but not once did our bartender turn around and ask if we were OK or if my husband wanted another beer. Not once. He continued to talk in front of us with the employees. Customer service was totally an afterthought and we, along with others, were treated as 2nd class citizens, but yet the servers expect, almost demand, a tip after absolutely zero customer service My husband has been a customer since Day 1 in Solana Beach. We enjoyed the food and casual atmosphere, and customer service is always a big part of anyone’s experience when they go out. If we are expected to tip, we expect great service. We always enjoy the bartenders and we never had any complaints until tonight. On the receipt, my husband wrote to the server and the manager his view of it all as he was very upset and offended by «Viper»… That’s the name that was on the receipt. We are double thinking about this being our after work«go to» place if that’s how it is.

After walking the near by trail at San Elejo the pizza, root beer floats, and their Grapefruit IPA are all awesome, just can’t beat it…

Great environment to hang with your friends. Pizza are much more satisfying than the Garlic bread sticks. Cheese sticks are very plain. Red bean Ice cream does not have a strong Red bean flavor, taste like Vanilla.

Pizza bressi ranch, where’s the meat? Expected a lot more from this. The other pizzas are a lot better

I love this place. My coworker first told me about it over the summer so my first time here was late August last year after a fun filled day with my offspring at Legoland. Pizza Port has the most amazing crust! And I’m not a pizza crust person! I LOVE their chicken wings — both buffalo and BBQ are on point. I’ve only tried the BBQ chicken pizza and it’s just so delicious. I’m pretty sure it’s the crust that takes it to the next level. Seating is cafeteria-style inside. I really like that they are also kid friendly. The first time I went was on a Friday night and maybe because they are located next to a church but it was very much a family affair that night. There were many families with children patronizing this business. You can also get ranch in the little plastic containers where you pick up the food from. Please open one in LA!

Wednesday wing night is amazing!!! 0. 45 cents per wing with your choice of dipping sauce… Delicious!!! Fun atmosphere, friendly employees and a large selection of beers. It seemed like there is something on the menu for everyone!!! They even have cider for non beer drinkers like me

I hadn’t been to a Pizza Port in a couple years and did not know this one existed until my sister mentioned it to me. I went on a Monday night and it was quite busy at 7:30. We sat in the upstairs area on the benches, as the downstairs area was pretty full. Not being an IPA fan, I had the Grandview Golden and the Carlsbad Cream Ale. I enjoyed both. For pizza, I ordered the Vallarta with canadian bacon, jalapenos, olives, and substituting the Mushrooms for the Onions. The cheese to sauce ratio was on point and the crust was just the right thickness and not overly doughy. For a medium, you get 8 good sized slices. I just wish there were a few more toppings, as the mushrooms and olives were a bit sparse. Overall, a solid pizza and beer choice if you happen to be in the area.

If you come here on an evening with the church is happening the parking can be a little tough. If not parking is pretty good! The Bressi Ranch is probably the best location in the pizza port family. They have an upstairs, a downstairs and an outdoor seating. It’s nice so you will always have a place to sit. If you go with a really large group you might have to wait for a bit, but sooner or later you will be able to find a spot. No matter what you order I don’t think you can go wrong. Their bbq chicken pizza is extremely tasty and the bbq sauce is nice and sweat. The Bressi ranch pizza is very good too! Also just a plane pepperoni and sausage is good! If you like beer you will have plenty of options. The Carlsbad Chronic is a must try. You won’t find a better ale out there. They always have seasonal beers on tap so no matter what you are in the mood for they will have something for you! Their prices are fair and you won’t find a Brewer tasting pizza around town!

Three Pizza Ports down, two more to go! I’ve now eaten at the Ocean Beach, Solana Beach and Bressi Ranch locations and, although the location is least convenient for me, I preferred the atmosphere at Bressi Ranch to the other two restaurants. Despite going on a Friday night, it was less full than I’ve ever seen at the other two locations and there was plenty of seating available for our group of eight or so. The building features high ceilings which make it feel more spacious too and give it an industrial vibe. I ordered the garlic buddies and a garden salad with no mushrooms. As a big garlic fan, I loved the garlic buddies, especially dipped in Pizza Port’s amazing ranch! I tried a marinara dipping sauce too but I think I prefer my marinara warm so it wasn’t as good. The portion-size is decent and can easily be shared with a friend or two. I brought a little over half of my buddies home and have been snacking on them over the past couple of days. The garden salad is perfectly crisp and refreshing. It’s topped with cherry tomatoes, green peppers and cucumbers(as well as mushrooms, if you like that sort of thing, which I don’t). As I mentioned before, the ranch is phenomenal here and made the salad even more delicious. It’s a good size as well(at least for light eaters, like me) and I also brought home half of the salad for lunch the next day. The only slight issue we had was a few miscommunications when ordering and taking our names. I, somehow, became Andy and another friend was way off on her name and thus didn’t know they were calling her to pick up her pizza for about 10 minutes.

This is a fun spot to take family & friends when hangin’ in the ‘burbs. They’ve got two floors, with two bars, so if one is crowded, try the other. Pizza is always great, but keep in mind, it is not that wimpy thin crust style that those East Coasters rave about. There is an outdoor patio area, great for sunset. And, now they’ve added a special feature called the CanTina; a small area for 21+ to hangout inside the actual brewing area, and sip some canned versions of the Port Brewing line up.

I came here for an event with 91X and my friends from Rebelution. I do like Pizza Ports pizza but I had already had dinner and was just coming for the event. I like this particular location because there is plenty of parking and the inside is two stories. The event was upstairs in the bar area and it was okay. The thing about Pizza Port is you have to love and I mean love kids. They are everywhere, running around with little to no observation. I don’t like beer and kids together, why I leave mine at home but this is a pizza joint first. They do have patio seating also with a firepit which makes for a more intimate spot unless once again there is fifty two kids. Why this place is A OK.

Pizza Port Bressi Ranch is my favorite out of all the Pizza Ports I’ve been to. I’ve been to their other locations in Ocean Beach, Solana Beach, and Carlsbad. This location is huge with a nice dining area upstairs and downstairs. They have a nice beer selection to go with your pizza depending on what kind of beer you’re craving. Beer Buddies(seasoned bread-sticks with ranch or marinara) is also good snack on the side that I also recommend! FAVORITEPIZZAS: Pizza Monterey: Pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, & artichoke hearts Pizza Bressi Ranch: their own signature pizza for this location: pulled pork, buffalo sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, and onion The service here is great and you pay for everything up front and then pick up your order. Pizza Port is a self-seating restaurant and if you want a beer you get that from the bar side separate from the food counter. Come here for high quality, fresh, tasty pizzas and grab some cold local brews. :)

Great experience! I have been to the location in Carlsbad Village but this one is much nicer and bigger! They have outdoor seating with a fire pit outside, which is great for warm evenings! I can’t personally speak about the pizza but all of them looked and smelled delicious! I can however say that the Port Salad is fantastic! Highly recommended if you want a healthier option! FYI — at lunchtime, you can order pizza by the slice but for dinner you have to order whole pizzas(small, medium and large).

This is the Pizza Port production facility with the largest interior space and largest tap system. Food menu is cut and paste from the other Pizza Ports– good gourmet pizzas with salads and hot wings. Prices are cheap. Atmosphere, though this is not in as good of a location as its sister brewpubs, is still somehow very crowded with local young families. There is a major young parent cult following for all Pizza Ports so don’t be surprised when you are overrun by children and birthday parties. They also do their famous homemade ice cream here so don’t forget about dessert. Beer wise, the quality is very high and the tap list rotates quickly with usually a specialty cask beer.

High quality pizza and beer. Both made on location. The red sauce is tangy with a bit of spices. The white sauce has a fresh garlic taste. The beer was also real good. I would recommend this place in a heart beat. I would classify this eatery as a cheap beer and cheap pizza establishment but the beer and pizza do not taste cheap!

Do you love great beer? Another silly question, do you love great food? Did you answer yes to at least one of the above questions? If so, proceed directly to Pizza Port. Pizza Port brews and cans beer at the Bressi Ranch location, offering a myriad of their own beers on draft, some guest handles, and even a wine selection. The cans are 16oz and offered in six packs, costing anywhere from $ 10-$ 13, a great deal. The pizza is incredible as well, and I’m very fond of the crust. It’s crispy and chewy and delicious! My favorites are the Monterey and the San Francisco. Wednesday is wing night for those who may be in to such a thing. The wings are oven baked, not fried, and they are huge. They also sell t-shirts, growlers, hats, sweatshirts, and all sorts of other Pizza Port schwag. The shirts are very soft, and have a great modern fit. It does get packed in here, and for good reason — Amazing pizza and delicious craft beer all at a very reasonable price. I’m a huge fan, this is hands down my favorite place in Carlsbad.

Pizza Port Bressi Ranch: it’s the cleaner, brighter, less-packed younger sister of the Carlsbad Village Pizza Port. The pizzas and food taste about the same as the Village Port — generally very good. My same pizza preference applies as does in the Village: if you get a pizza with pepperoni on it, make sure it only has pepperoni on it and not other toppings, otherwise the pepperoni will get buried under the cheese layer and won’t end up all nice and crispy like pepperoni atop the cheese. Beer selection is just as tasty and varied as the Village Port. There’s always a fun mix of beers brewed at Bressi Ranch, beers brewed at other Ports, and other select breweries on tap. The patio at this Port was set up very well. Fire pit in the middle, surrounded by a ring of covered tables, surrounded by a bench that’s somehow heated when it gets below a frigid 65 °F out there. Interior is a lot cleaner and less sticky than in the Village. And due to the two levels of inside seating, it’s rarely over-crowded(looks like the Village Port is following the lead and adding a second level now). Port Village outdoes Bressi Ranch for two simple reasons, however: it’s walking distance from home and the employees are nicer(probably because I’ve gotten to know them better, maybe it’s just me that’s nicer sometimes).

It was my first time here at this particular Pizza Port and I immediately fell in love. It’s a lot more spacious than the one on the coast in Solana Beach or the other restaurant on Carlsbad Village Drive. It was definitely a full house tonight too. A group of us came here to celebrate a friends birthday and we all had a wonderful time. I ordered the Vallarta Pizza(ham, onion, bell peppers, olives and jalapeños) and it was delicious!!! We also got a simple garden salad-the veggies were so fresh and crisp I was definitely a happy camper. They do offer a wide selection of craft beers that are perfectly chilled as well. If you’re looking for a place to bring the family along with or a night out with friends-this is the perfect place. I’ll definitely be back!
