Rodeway Inn

What a GREAT deal! We are a family on a tight budget and Rodeway Inn was the cheapest available hotel near Legoland. It is only about 2 miles away from Legoland and was a steal of a price. The room was very nicely remodeled, with beautiful molding, mirrors, granite, and tile. The TV was a very nice flat screen with great cable channels. It came with a mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer, soaps, and mini coffee maker. We requested an iron /​ironing board at the front office as there was not one in the room.
The beds were comfortable and clean. I am very picky with that and even check for hairs and bugs before climbing into the bed! LOL It was clean and I was a happy camper.
The only con is that the walls are very thin and if you have loud neighbors, they will certainly wake you up. The freeway is very close so you can hear the cars, but that is like white noise for me and puts me to sleep.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget who doesn’t need a fancy hotel.
A bonus is there is a delicious breakfast spot called The Village Kitchen & Pie Shoppe right down the street with wonderful breakfast!

This was the worst hotel I have ever been to. The carpet in the rooms were filthy. It was one of the dirtiest rooms I have ever stayed in. Only 2 towels in the room and when I asked for more I was told to come back later they were in the wash. The next morning I went to ask for four towels and was told I could only have 2. The breakfast was the worst hotel breakfast ever. The tables were dirty and the man who worked there was the rudest hotel employee ever. Would never stay here again.

If you want a so so place or just somewhere to put your head down then it’s fine. Nothing to want to come back to and simply overpriced especially on a long weekend. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.
