I really like Dr Desai. She’s the first Dr I’ve had that doesn’t make me feel like I’m keeping them from something else. She takes the time to answer all your questions. Her nurse forgot to make a copy of my shot report so instead of making me wait longer — she just did it herself! She won bonus points with me for that!
She is easy to talk to, understanding and caring. She is no longer in Vista, but in Carlsbad and a very nice (but busy) location.

Dr. Desai has been my PCP for about 10 years now and came highly recommended by my coworkers. I am happy that I was able to find a great family medicine doctor who is caring, listens and is totally down to earth.
During my annual visits, we talk about various health care issues affecting the group and we have great conversation about quality.
The only downfall is that it may be difficult to schedule an appointment for your annual physical. I am a pretty healthy individual and see a physician once/​yr, so it is disappointing that I have to schedule my CPE about 3 months in advance.

The search is over for my new physician! Finally, I found Dr. Desai through a neighbor. Sharp Mission Park has been bought long ago by Scripps. Her new office is at 1276 Salk Avenue, Carlsbad.
She made me feel confident and and provided information I did not get with my previous doctor. I trust that I will be on a speedy recovery through the care of Dr. Desai.

Dr. Desai is awesome. She’s really easy to talk to (doctors make me nervous — dentists even more so). My only gripe is that getting appointments feels impossible. My schedule is constantly changing so it’s difficult to keep appointments that are weeks or months away. The last time I made an appointment for my yearly physical, the first available date was two months away.
She’s no longer at the Sharp building on Vista Way but driving the extra 20 minutes to Carlsbad is totally worth it.
