I was lucky to meet Steven at a friend’s party and we immediately got engaged in causal conversation about real estate market and which neighborhoods i should be looking at. Few months later i found myself calling Steve for help.
Working with him was nothing like working with any real estate broker I had met in the past. As first time home buyer I was stepping in the unknown, seeking professional guidance and advice. As purchaser willing to make a good investment I was looking for no-​pressure environment with agent helping get things done right, rather than trying to make sale as quickly as possible. As someone who spends at least 40 hrs a week managing other people and processes I was looking for diligent, knowledgeable and responsible person. This combination is tough to find in any business.
Not only Steven fully met expectations, but took them above and beyond. He would take a call any time of the day. He’d promptly return emails. He’d make himself available on weekends for house showings on a short notice. He’d immediately do a research on the neighborhood to present different options and set expectations. He’d strategize on approach to win a bid on desirable property. He’d always think 2 steps ahead and outline possible scenarios so there would be no surprises down the road. He would patiently answer dozens of questions every day, and now that I look back, some of those questions could be odd or poorly articulated, but that has never been an issue with Steven. In other words he would always be there for me.
Steven’s team was exemplary as well. Most of the time I was working with Zesty Harper who had been coordinating everyone involved in the transaction very efficiently, not to mention she followed up at least twice within 2 months after the close of escrow to make sure everything was taken care of properly.
I had amazing experience doing business with Steven Wener and would highly recommend his services to anyone seeking to purchase or sell real estate. As a matter of fact, I am considering to buy a piece of investment real estate property and would not consider anyone else, but Steven. And, by the way, he’s a great guy to hang out with outside of work hours!
