YMCA of San Diego County

I have been bringing my daughter to gymnastics for a year now. They had a great toddler gymnastics program. They recently expanded and are going through growing pains. The instructors are pretty good but again growing pains. My biggest complaint is the parents. The parking lot is a mess because these entitled women who can’t park their oversized suv’s improperly use the front as a loading and drop off area. These incompetent drivers become oblivious to pedestrians. Needless to say ymca need to put a sign prohibiting such a thing.

Gymnastic center is great.

I’ve been to two Monday night adult gymnastics classes here. My only beef with this place is…1 hr is not enough! Ok 1hr is fine, but I could honestly spend hours here. This is by far the most fun I’ve had, period. I went twice to an open gym a different facility last year, but it wasn’t nearly as gnarly as this place. Only $ 12 for non-​Y members!
The coaches were absolutely great. Phenomenal instruction, super-​mindful of safety, very professional but they also had senses of humor to make it a fun experience. I learned more in two sessions than my wildest parkour dreams could have conjured up. Quit trying to do backflips on an air mattress in your back yard and learn how to do them the right way and have fun at the same time!
