Forget the salumerias. Daily Deli subs cannot be beat. Talk about overstuffed — my last must have had a pound of perfectly cooked roast beef — foot long for about $ 10. Mostly for take out but they do have tables inside.

Small local convenience store — has liquor, groceries (small selection), and great overstuffed deli sandwiches. My 4 star rating is specifically for the sandwiches and friendly nature of the people that work here. Although the exterior and interior have seen better days the shop maintains its warm home town feel. The daily deli has been in business longer then I can remember.
This is a great spot for a 6 pack and a tasty sandwich! They do also have breakfast specials and other specials — I would say check them out and you may find yourself going back often =)

Reminds me of a bodega you might find in the Bronx. Small selection of food staples, beer, liquor, etc. Staff is friendly and prices are pretty fair. They have the longest hours for groceries on the main strip of Carlstadt so it can be useful if you need some milk at 9pm.

Daily deli is a neighborhood deli and liquor store located on carlstadt’s main strip. The deli is frequented by locals and you usually could find some of them sitting around inside chatting over coffee. The store has a small liquor section, as well as a small selection of groceries. I have only had the breakfast sandwiches here. Decent sandwich, good coffee plus lottery and newspapers.
They have a small parking lot and also limited seating inside.
Nice, friendly staff.
