Ambiance/Décor/Atmosphere: Absolutely stunning, beautiful, gorgeous tans, grays, and browns. Terre a Terre is intricately decorated to make you feel like you’re dining at a French Bistro. Noise/sound level: Terre a Terre is not such a large restaurant, but sound is average so conversation with guests won’t be disrupted. Menu: Focused on localized farm to table, and changes with the seasons according to what’s available, chef’s tastes, etc. The menu has first and second course options, but is designed small to make selecting a meal simple. Service: Holly was amazing, friendly, warm, inviting, informative, and timely, but not over bearing. Food: The sole reason for two stars. *NOTE*. There are no salt and pepper shakers on the table, that could mean two things; chef is either extremely confident in his ability to build flavors, or too arrogant to let others season their food. I had fried baby artichokes and braised short ribs, my wive had coq au vin. The artichokes came to me dripping with oil; probably not hot enough to fry yet. Homemade ramp aioli was pretty good. My short rib was dry and tasteless; no salt, pepper, or sauce on the plate. The dry short rib was accompanied by under and also overcooked risotto, parsnip, and sauteed spinach. Rice was chewy, gummy, mushy; not aldente, but more like when you cook rice and don’t add enough liquid, then try to add more after you realize you messed up. The parsnips felt out of place with their strong flavor, but oddly the spinach was nicely seasoned and tasty. My wife’s meal was equally lacking any sort of flavor, but accompanied by fingerling potatoes that were not fully cooked, and some kind of brown greasy looking sauce. Where’s the red wine? Anyways, her hericot verts were the tastiest thing on the plate. Oh yeah, the bread is awesome too. Bar: BYOB with some wine sales. Price: Pretty expensive, great for special occasions. Overall: Regarding the 3.5 out of 4 rating by newspapers, the Zagat rating, high Unilocal reviews, and numerous photos with celebrity and highly skilled chefs you’d think this meal would be epic. Sadly, it was not remotely good, and I would never consider returning, even if chef wasn’t closing end of the month. I had exceedingly high expectations given all these regards, but unfortunately Terre a Terre didn’t deliver.

I was here for their brunch a couple of weeks ago, fantastic, really farm fresh, now I’m here for dinner. The food is just e off the hook, delicious and with an outstanding presentation. Just superb,. The service is impeccable, not intrusive, but always there when you need anything. Thank you Nicole for making our dinner so enjoyable. Sorry they are closing.

So sorry to hear that this restaurant is closing. I ventured out this past Saturday and was impressed with both the service and the food. I am angry with myself for not trying this place earlier. My husband started with the onion soup and for his entrée was the short ribs. I thoroughly enjoyed the bouillabaisse. I have to go back as soon as possible before the closing! My female server was exceptional and I hope she finds another position that will acknowledge her talents.

Terre a’ Terre s one of those restaurants that you keep promising yourself to try it somehow never do. Well, it took the announcement of their closing to motivate us and quickly at that. We were happy to score reservations for both dinner and brunch, brunch being the first of those dates so that is what my review will reflect. We had eaten here last when it was Sal Anthony, which was bustling and crowded. Terre a’ Terre is much prettier, serene and infinitely more comfortable. Even the details on the table settings were lovely. Two warm mini loaves of bread(one white, one multi grain) were placed on the table with butter sprinkled with pink Himalayan sea salt. Wow! Amazing how such a small touch can make such a difference! Even my iced tea had a hint of social and was delicious and refreshing. For our choices for brunch hubby had the smoked salmon omelet served with red onion, capers and neufchatel that came with beautiful wedges of potato and big pieces of onion and pepper. This is exactly how home fries should be served. I got the House Ground Black Angus Burger with caramelized onions, crème de bleu, mushrooms and truffle Bearnaise Sauce. What a fantastic combination on a perfect burger. It was cooked perfectly(for me) nice and charred outside, pink and juicy inside. We both cleaned our plates. Even though I was really full hubby talked me into sharing dessert. We decided on a pound cake with molasses, crème fraîche and ice cream. Absolutely yummy. I look forward to our dinner here in a couple of weeks and will add my next review then .

My husband and I booked our wedding rehearsal dinner at Terre a Terre. Todd, the owner and chef, is absolutely amazing. The night was incredible. He blew our expectations out of the water and made us feel like royalty. We are so unbelievably happy we found this restaurant it was so perfect. The place was set up gorgeously, the food incredible and we even had a chance to step away from the crowd and have some time to ourselves in our little romantic corner that Todd had surprised us with. Honestly, everything we could ever want. He even went out of his way to prepare a last minute specially requested dessert. All of our guests complimented our choice. There’s no other restaurant in the area like this one! We are so looking forward to coming back soon for dinner!

I never use the term«lovely», but that is the only word that keeps coming to my mind. So dammit, I am going to use it! Unilocaler Jill P and I had a LOVELY dining experience at Terre a Terre. The atmosphere is very rustic yet chic. Farm-to-table is not a question here… it encompasses everything they do. Seasonal menus excite me and I was thrilled to learn that the menu was only a couple of weeks old. Appetizers: — Lemon thyme asparagus and beet salad. Two of my loves… lemon and beets. The poached egg gave this dish a smooth-as-silk texture. — Baked Tartlet — this was akin to a Pillsbury dough pizza crust(flaky and crispy) but 20 times better. Mushrooms and chevre made this dish lovely(«lovely!») More than enough to share among a few people. Entrees: — Sfoglini nettle pasta — lamb ragu, artichokes and lemon(see my lemon theme?). Ample in size and sensational. The pine nuts were a welcomed addition. — Bouillabaisse — shellfish(mussels, shrimp, clams, monkfish) in a perfectly seasoned broth. Keep the bread nearby… you’ll want to dunk it in this. Another generous portion also! Dessert: — Chocolate peanut butter and espresso bread pudding. Large enough to share yet not overwhelming in size. How could we NOT indulge in dessert after a meal like that? The chef visited our table a couple of times for our honest opinions. The menu is new and he said that they were still tweaking it. He was genuinely interested in our impressions. My only regret of the night was not taking pictures. Were were so enthralled in conversation that I was photo-negligent. The upside of that? It gives me a reason to return. Easy to find and plenty of street parking in the area. Don’t let the Spring menu pass you by!

After several dinners here it’s about time I got around to a review. When one should ask me where to go for a dining experience — not eating out– my recommendations venture to two places. Café Matisse and Terre a Terre. My first experience here was prompted by someone telling me of a farm to table experience locally. The menu contained Goffle farms poultry — I am in. My first experience here I enjoyed the steak. Quite memorable. Quite perfectly cooked hanger steak and frittes that evening. So much so you can feel you mouth water for the taste of it. My second experience here it’s a toss up to decide which part of the meal was my favorite. The beet appetizer? Likes of kind of beet I’ve never experienced? Or the long stemmed artichokes that were exceptionally prepared that tasted only sweeter knowing that by 8pm I was having the last one available? That’s Unilocal speak for fresh, limited and truly farm to table — hint! Or was it in fact the piece of monkfish I snuck off the hubs plate? Not able to make a decision of favorite plate — well you return obviously to once again try to find that elusive perfect item. And so the 3rd time I found heaven. Just two weeks ago the hubs and I ventured and for apps I had — cause I’m a sucker– the artichokes. I just can’t pass up an artichoke. And it was as good as I thought would be. Butttttt. But tttt can we talk about the hubs’ app? There on the plate with such delicious porky goodness. Was pork belly skewers. Simply mentioned by the server and it caused a hmmm ok. Presented by chef Todd on a bed of greens with guava reduction and I was truly in heaven. Yes I had dinner entrees too. Scallops for me and salmon for hubs. All quite deliciously prepared and the care of a meal by the chef is clearly seen in everything he prepares for you. But In writing this I think I am getting hungry and his new menu now has tartare. So in the next two weeks I will make my way to the other meal I am always a sucker for. Tartare. Who’s in???

Wonderful meal last night at the pretty intimate Terre à Terre. Had the Duck Egg Raviolo as an appi that was fabulous, with a generous helping of lentils underneath. Lentils were cooked just right and the duck egg oozed as it should when cutting into the large homemade raviolo. Main course was the beautifully cooked short ribs that were tender as could be. Placed on a bed of mashed potatoes with three large onions and interesting carrots that all went perfectly with the short ribs. The more than generous portion will make a nice lunch for me today as well! Finished off my meal with a chocolate croissant bread pudding topped with a chocolate espresso sauce that was yummy. Service from Justin was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. A very, very nice meal in, of all places, Carlstadt, NJ! Kudos to Chef Villani and his staff.

Stumbled on this place and it is a find. We had a wonderful dinner — mussels appetizer and scallops for the main course both were perfect, and beautiful to look at. I loved the butterscotch pudding for dessert. It’s byob but they do sell wine from a NJ winery — the chardonnay was quite good, if a bit pricey. I’d love to try the brunch and look forward to dinner there again soon. PS– excellent service — and I even liked the music.

First time here. I love this place. Small and attentive. We were a party of five there to celebrate a birthday. 4 of us ordered appetizers and we all had a main course and dessert. Holly, our server, explained the restaurant’s commitment of Farm-to-Table and was very gracious with our requests. Most of the food is from within 300 miles of the restaurant. It’s a very unpretentious place, yet serves the same quality and presentation of food that more expensive places sometimes make too precious. Everything we had was wonderful. We are going back. As a side note, we all loved the music they played in the background. Very pleasant experience.

Terre à Terre is a cozy farm to table style restaurant in northern New Jersey. We visited here for brunch and it was a delicious experience. They open at 11 and we arrived around 11:30 and were pleasantly surprised there was no wait. We had a chorizo scramble and my boyfriend enjoyed the pork belly & pancakes! The food and service were great, along with reasonable brunch prices. We will be back to try dinner!

Wow great little find nestled right here in Carlstadt! Atmosphere is trendy and cozy! Owner came out and chatted with us for quite some time. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Btw it’s byob — yayyy love byob! Truly farm to table and sustainable conscience. We started with first course crab cakes-yummmm, scallop crudo-superb, stuffed clams — delishhh and beet salad light and refreshing! Second course short ribs were outstanding, very tender delishhh! Salmon dish was light, perfectly cooked and delishhh. Steak w rapini and gnocchi was equally delicious. Steak perfectly cooked, gnocchi very light. Overall this dish was tasty but could’ve use more au jus /sauce. The duck was sooooo good perfectly cook and tasty! Deserts and tea was a great way to top off the evening! Great dining experience, will def return! Kudos to Terre a Terre

Came here for dinner with my father and he’s pretty much a vegan whereas I truly don’t discriminate and can eat all, although I definitely prefer it when I know the animals were humanely treated. Suffice to say, finding restaurants to accommodate both of our tastes can be a challenge but TAT did a wonderful job for him and he was really satisfied. Now a breakdown of dinner: 1) the bread. Goodness it was SOGOOD. literally came out piping hot from the oven and had to ask for another basket because #noshame even my father, who rarely eats anything processed enjoyed it 2) squash bisque. absolutely delicious. I personally love all things squash so this was pure heaven. My father, however, usually stays away from it at all costs but even HE enjoyed it immensely and used the derish bread to clean it off the bowl 3a) my father got a special vegetable plate catered to his preferences as there was no particular second course/entrée dish that was vegetarian and although it kind of just seemed like all of the sides on one plate, he still thought it was great. his only qualm was that it may have been slightly too salty but still delectable. 3b) sfoglini pasta with duck confit and truffle nutmeg butter. I had really, really high expectations because honestly, who can say no to carbs + duck + truffle BUTTER but alas, it was not meant to be and remembered why I only love true truffles and hate anything reminiscent of faux truffle oil. I think they put way too much oil/butter on the dish and it completely ruined the tastes of everything else. Barely tasted the duck(which were really just shredded bits all over the pasta) or anything else on the dish and was only left with this oily residual taste on my tongue. Maybe if I put a bottle of Tabasco on it, it may have balanced the dish more but alas they did not have any(oops I had to ask) Still, even though I really didn’t enjoy my own entrée I still rate this place 4 stars because of their service(attention was great albeit a bit slow but we didn’t mind), food accommodations, farm-to-table-ness, ANDDABISQUEANDBREAAADD. Definitely worth the trip out here even though finding parking is horrendous but I guess it works out because you gotta walk off the carbs somehow

In a area of mediocre, casual restaurants, it’s great to have a place that offers high-level, fine, casual dining. One should not have to travel to NYC to experience great food. And now there is Terre-a-Terre — in Northern New Jersey. I hope and pray they stay true to its course. Farm to table, great dining environment, and really great waitstaff. I have eaten there three times. Each time I am not disappointed. The menu changes quite regularly which is good. It shows the freshness of the seasonal ingredients and the ingenuity of the chef and his staff. Order whatever you want, it’s all good and cooked to perfection. I can wax poetic about a specific dish, but why bother. Do what my wife and I do, order three or four dishes and take home the leftovers. You will never be disappointed.

This restaurant is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots in north jersey. The food is always on point, service is great, and décor is lovely. The crab cake salad is amazing, the duck is always perfect, and the bread is delicious and always fresh. I highly recommend giving this farm to table restaurant a try. Nothing I have tried here has disappointed and I have eaten in a huge number of restaurants throughout the NYC area.

Superb! Our second visit and we will be back soon. Chef was chosen to cook at The James Beard House in August. Trust me Montclarians, the drive is a mere 20 minutes and as good and better than many of the finest restaurants in Montclair. The menu is just diverse and deep enough to make everyone happy. The specials are equally compelling. We shared fried artichokes with a jalapeño aioli to start– fantastic! Flavors were distinct and the aoili was not spicy but very flavorful. Microgreens on top added a nice crunch. Keep in mind the concept is farm to table which spans a 300 mile radius so gives Chef a lot of flexibility. For entrees I had a magnificent halibut filet served over a bad of sautéed kale and quinoa and my husband had cuttlefish ink pasta served with the sweetest scallops, yellow grape tomatoes and chunks of sautéed pork belly. It was delicious. For dessert we shared a seasonal butternut squash cheesecake with fresh whipped cream and also a scoop of salted caramel gelato. The cheesecake was not too sweet, yet rich and creamy and yes, I did want to lick the plate. When can we go back? SOON, very soon!

What a lovely dining experience. I wish that more people knew about Terre a Terre, a delightful Farm to Table restaurant that sources all of its ingredients from within 300 miles. For dinner we started with fried baby artichokes which were simply delicious. My wife had the halibut special, which was buttery and executed well, along with kale and quinoa. I had cuttlefish pasta with scallops, yellow tomatoes and pork belly. The scallops were among the best I’d ever had. For dessert we had the butternut squash cheesecake, which was rich without being cloying. We’ll definitely be back soon.

I really was expecting more from this restaurant. I really wanted to like it. Instead, its just«meh». Let’s start with the décor. I know farm-chic is in right now, but there seems to have been a disconnect between the beautiful woodwork on the walls and then the burlap curtains. My brain just couldn’t come to terms with the collision of styles. But at least its not in my house. OK, down to the menu and the food. VERY small wine menu, not even a choice, because there are no wines by the glass. No beers either. Its halfway between a BYOB and then not. Kind of confusing. The menu is nice, but they are missing a nice simple salad on the«small plates». It really would have been a welcome sight for my husband who doesn’t do seafood or duck. So, he sat there and watched me eat my app – which was a peach crostini with duck prosciutto, ricotta salata assorted microgreens. But unfortunately, there was no duck prosciutto in the dish. There were thicker slices of a so-so seasoned and what appeared to be seared duck breast. If you are expecting a rich and flavorful aged paper thin duck breast slice, this is not it. Good dish, nice and light tasting, but for the love of GOD, do not call it «prosciutto». For the entrees, my husband ordered the steak which he was happy with. I ordered the Short Rib off the menu special. It’s like no other short rib that I have ever had or made. On one hand, I loved it, – it was nicely cooked, but it was a VERY large piece, for which I took at least half home. On the other hand, I was really missing the thick and rich sauce that usually accompanies short ribs. The sides were nicely cooked, My husband and I actually swapped the veg sides(he had artichokes in a cream sauce, that was DELICIOUS) I had Haricots verts, wax beans and baby carrots, which he admitted were pretty tasty). Lastly, we ordered coffee, tea and dessert. The dessert menu sounded great(we didn’t get to read nor even see the menu) so my husband ordered the Flourless Chocolate Torte and I ordered the Asian Pear crisp. Again, I seemed to have drawn the short straw when making my choices. The Asian Pear Crisp had no «crisp» to it. It was served in a mason jar, and resembled overcooked oatmeal with half-cooked pieces of fruit in it. The only redeeming part of the dessert was the Lemon Mascarpone Gelato, which arrived separately. My husband had coffee, and I had the tea, which actually came with its own menu. The water was poured from a special tea pot, but the inclusion of sliced lemons, honey, or even a tea tray to put my tea bag on just never arrived. I was never even asked about these accompaniments. This special tea menu needs to be matched with the presentation and service to back it up. Now to the bill. $ 130 for a meal for two that had no cocktails or wine – and just 1 appetizer. Just 2 sodas at $ 4.00 each and a sparking water at $ 4.00. Pretty unsatisfying if you go in with any expectations. And, well, if you don’t go in with expectations, you’ll probably be happier than I was.

The farm to table fare is so fresh and prepared so elegantly. If this was in NYC you’d pay triple for these amazing dishes. I love the Sunday dinner special where you can get half size portions for half price. We tried 8 things with dinner and our total bill was under $ 100 bux. The atmosphere and the meals are all about attention to detail and the food is outstanding. brunch is also great. plus it’s BYOB Only bummer was that I purchased a certificate and they would not except it on Sunday because our orders were halved. That stipulation was not clear when they promoted the deal on Facebook and when I went back to find the post it was removed. I was disappointed for that reason but everything else was awesome. Nonetheless it won’t stop us from coming back.

Clean, inspired cooking. Farm to table has become a cliché but not at Terre a Terre where it seems to be a passion and cornerstone of the chefs’ philosophy of how food should be bought, prepared and enjoyed. I had the crab cake as a first course… not ordinary in the least. Full of crab and nicely prepared. The pork trio dish was very nice especially the pork belly. My wife ordered the scallops which were good but quite salty. BYO, nice staff and ok ambiance.

Unfortunately, I have to bring down my star rating for inconsistency. My brunch experience was 5 stars when they just opened last year. My lunch experience recently was a 2 star for food. Ordered off the prix fixe menu and added on a duck appetizer. The duck was overcooked and stringy. Steak sandwich was bread with a small layer of steak and the pasta of the day was so salty we could not eat pass 2 bites. Service remains warm and friendly. Décor and ambiance is obviously still beautiful. Hoping this was just an off day and the next visit I can bump it back up.

I went to Terre a Terre for brunch last weekend. Brunch is only available on Sundays from 11a-2p but it was a great opportunity to try out the restaurant. The classic rustic décor was charming, big windows provide lots of natural light in the dining room, and our menus were given to us on wooden tree bark boards which was a nice touch. I ordered the south of the border scramble(scrambled eggs with sausage, black beans, avocado, cheese, & tomatoes, and served with a side of potatoes). I enjoyed the dish, although I wish the sausage had been seasoned a bit more. Overall, the flavor combinations worked well and I would recommend the dish. My friends all enjoyed their food as well, although we were disappointed that some of the menu items were not available, despite the fact that we arrived at noon. As a final note, the service is slow. If you’re looking for a quick brunch it is not the place to go. However, if you want to enjoy a leisurely brunch in a nice atmosphere, this is a great stop.

Dining at Terre a Terre caused conflicting feelings; on the one hand we had a nice brunch for a reasonable price with BYOB, but on the other hand the service was surprisingly scattered. We went for brunch, which they only do once a week. There was a decent amount of people there, but it was by no means packed. It took a while to get our coffee and upon ordering we were informed that about half the menu was unavailable. With narrowed choices I ordered the«From the Land» omelet with duck. My dish came with tender duck and gorgonzola some roast potatoes with peppers and fruit. The«farm to table» omelet quiet good, although a bit greasy(expected with duck). The pitfall of our meal was really that the service(even though our server was very nice) was slow and we lacked full brunch options. I thought the brunch was a decent deal to try Terre a Terre because it is much cheaper than dinner, but it seems they have a few kinks to work out. We also really enjoyed the whimsy forest décor with birch tree candle holders and succulents on the table

Been here about 4 times or so… Terre a Terre *never* disappoints! The food is always prepared with great thoughtfulness and detail… and presented beautifully but not in a pretentious way so as to make you not want to eat it because it looks too artistic(if that makes any sense). I guess«simple but elegant» is what I’m trying to say. Waiters have always been very knowledgeable about the dishes and specials being offered that particular day. Friendly, and again… not pretentious! I rarely dole out 5 stars… but I decided to upgrade my initial review from last year. Terre a Terre serves *consistently* spectacular food in a very pleasant and laid back atmosphere… and they support local farms and growers.

If you are looking for a farm to table restaurant offering modern American cuisine Terre à Terre is for you. NJ is after all the Garden State. Chef Todd has an extraordinary ability to bring out the best in farm fresh vegetables. Haricot Vert and Asparagus stole the show during our dinner which is exceptional given how amazingly tender and perfectly prepared we found our beef and lamb entrees. We ate from the Spring 2014 Menu:
We were a party of two and shared several courses plus ordered our own appetizer|entrée pairs. Total: $ 160.00 with tax + $ 30 tip. Crispy Stuffed Artichokes Hearts(shared) Diner 1: Lamb Spring Roll | T&T Steak of the day(med rare) Diner 2: Smokey Crab Cakes | Rack of Lamb(med well) Side of Asparagus(shared) Bread Pudding with Banana Gelato(shared) We arrived with several bottles of wine(BYOB) which were opened immediately with style and poured for us throughout the meal. We also poured for ourselves as we expected at a BYOB establishment. Both the lamb and the steak were enjoyed completely; the steak was perfectly med rare, tender; it was a 14 oz Delmonico steak. The lamb referred to by the waiter as a rack of lamb was actually two ribs; no restaurant typically serves a full ‘rack’ but two was less than expected, the portion itself was large. While it was ordered med-well it came med-rare. This would normally be an issue but it was so perfect in taste no complaint was made by diner 2. Terre à Terre is highly recommended but it is not without flaws. A duck special on the chalkboard wasn’t available. It took 15+ minutes from the time we were given the choices verbally for our dessert order to be taken; we would have prefered to order faster. The service was professional and well orchestrated: a single waiter and a single buss staff with assistance from the Hostess and four walk-bys from the Chef. Our bread basket/butter was removed after our first appetizer course, the staff seemingly not aware we had a 2nd round of appetizers coming; we were not asked if we wanted more(which we always do). The waiter was often busy with other tables so it wasn’t always easy to get his attention; there were about 16 to 20 folks eating while we were there(7 — 9pm) and a group of 8 took up a good deal of his time. Again, excellent teamwork from all there to keep things moving. It would be easy enough to say, «you are dining in Carlstadt NJ» were you really expecting NY Times *** service? The answer is no I wasn’t BUT — at $ 160 for two I would have appreciated marginally better service; if the waiter anticipated of our needs better, had we been able to gain the waiter’s attention faster, waited less time between receiving our menus and hearing the specials or been able to order dessert faster(see above) we would have been happier. If you are looking for a moderately paced dining experience with impeccable service Terre à Terre may not deliver; if you are seeking quality service at a more relaxed pace, you will be happy. While the steak, rack of lamb, asparagus, accompanying salads and other vegetables were impeccable the food wasn’t without flaws. The crispy artichoke hearts were tasty and tender but far more soft than crispy. A few outer parts of the heart where browned but were tough to eat; certainly not crispy. Lamb spring rolls served in a rice wrapper were amazing including the sauce except the wrapper wasn’t prepared well. The wrapper was tough, hard to eat through and split open spilling the contents of the roll; it was either not given enough water to relax it from it’s solid state or more likely was prepared in advance and simply allowed to dry up. The bread basket included a stick each of multigrain, onion and pretzel style mini baguettes; the butter was nicely seasoned and at the perfect temperature. The warm bread was in fact hot to the touch and hard to eat until it cooled. That didn’t stop us from ordering a 2nd basket of bread. This is a good metaphor for the entire restaurant. Overall excellence but lacking in some of the finer details that would be expected at the price charged. I(@hhawk) communicated with the restaurant by Twitter in the days prior to arriving; the web site listed the summer menu which wasn’t available until the week following our visit. The Twitter account(@LocalNJFoods) supplied us with the current menu. All of our interaction with the account was very professional and the response time was rapid. No one from the restaurant staff mentioned to us our Twitter interaction which is neither expected nor unwelcome. It’s hard to compute the true value of Terre à Terre. $ 160 + two bottles of wine(no BYOB) would have been a $ 250+ bill in Manhattan with a long drive home and the hassle of parking. The service needs a tune-up but I am picky. For our budget this is special occasion dining and we will return.

Like other reviewers I love the design of this place, the ambiance, the music, the menu layout and the food. The service was a little off on a Saturday, it was hard for the 2 servers to keep up with the rush. The menu is really creative and fresh, it’s extremely diverse, a good way to get into this Farm to Table American/European cuisine. The beef tartare was a standout, there was a little too much green but great flavors and the Spanish anchovies were a great accompaniment. The duck special was ridiculously perfect, perfectly med-rare, not chewy, just great. I will be back, really excited to try the Brunch and see how this place evolves.
