Forest Hill Park

This is the only park with a playground we could find in Carmel. You need to get here on foot because it has no parking. None. At. All. So consider yourself warned. It has a structure for 2 – 5 year olds and one for 5+, a couple of ride-​on teeter totters, two swings, two baby swings and a picnic table. It seems to have good shade too. It doesn’t have a washroom and it’s nowhere near any businesses. So that’s fun when your toddler lights up with «GOTTA GO PEE GOTTA GO PEE!!» All the equipment is a good foot higher off the ground than it was designed to be. You’ll need to lift even your big kids into everything. All in all, it’s pretty looking but it was clearly designed by non-​parents.
