Used to do Supercuts for 10 minute hair cut but every haircut looked different
Wife said go to Liz at Montage so what do I do?
Right!
I go to Liz
She spends 2 hours cutting, shaping, shampooing my hair. No one, including me, ever took such good care of my hair!
I figured this is going to cost $ 200 (that’s what it felt like it was worth)
$ 45
No! I said!
That’s to cheap!
Liz smiled and I was happy to give her a good tip
Now Montage is my regular hair stop

Ashley is amazing!!! She knows exactly how to get what I ask for and always has creative ideas to help me look my best. She’s focused and does detailed work and never rushes! Prices are great for the amazing work she does. She understands trends and is a great young stylist!

Love this place! The Montage team is incredibly welcoming every time I am there (10 – 12 weeks). Tammy is amazing and does a great job in coloring those «clear» hairs and giving my hair a cut that is easy to manage.

We had moved to Carmel from San Jose, almost a year ago now. Montage was given to me as a recommendation from our Real Estate Agent. They were the 1^st ones I tried and have been there since. I had been through some horrible surgeries and physical therapy and was in real need of TLC. The 1^st person I talked to was Kathy, who you will see as you walk in. She is friendly, welcoming, and really knows how to match people up for their needs. She made me feel at ease before I even went in.
She placed me with Liz, and I have been with this Beautiful, Talented, & Friendly person ever since. I have very thin hair and I am horrible about what to do with it. On top of that, the color was so messed up when I came in. It was 2 different colors. She picked a gorgeous shade of red for me and fixed my hair right up. I get so many compliments on my hair color. The staff are fantastic, rhe shop is gorgeous. Even a beautiful little deck or patio to sit and relax. Liz gave me my consult out there, and made me totally comfortable. They are hospitable and offer drinks, a cookie or 2, and always a fresh supply of candy in the waiting area. The salon is comfortable and relaxing, and beautiful. The bathroom, is also very clean as is the shop. Everyone is friendly and at the same time, very professional. Parking, is excellent. If you do not try this wonderful shop, you will really be missing out on some fantastic people and services. They ALL have a great sense of humor as well.

Whenever I’m in the Carmel area and need a great blowout, I go to see Liz at Montage. She is terrific, and I love the nice, modern feel of the salon. I especially like the shampoo chairs with raised leg rests. Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere too. I’ve tried other places in the area in the past, but this is the one I’m committed to now!

Liz is phenomenal! I’ve never been moved to write a review before but new to town and in need of a new stylist, Liz squeezed me in and stayed late to do so. She gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had and is so friendly and professional that the whole experience was a treat. Everyone at the salon was kind and welcoming and I highly recommend them.

I drove all the way from Millbrae, by the San Francisco airport to have Liz do my hair. Liz’s far reaching reputation made the trip worth while. I am so pleased with the quality of her work. Thank You for making me feel so beautiful!

I moved up here from Southern California, and needed to find
a new hairstylist and a new salon. I looked around for over a year.
Once I found Montage, my search ended.
From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, the place
is inviting, and everything is done to make you feel comfortable
and cared for. I started with Tom, who was great, but the next time
I went, he was on vacation, and since I liked the place, I decided to
stay there, and went with Liz. And I’ve been with her ever since.
She gives me a great cut, and the color is outstanding.
I highly recommend the Salon and Liz.

I have been going to Tom for more than 5 years now — he is absolutely the best! He is a great stylist and an expert with hair color. I would never go to anyone else but Tom. Highly, highly recommend!

I looovvvveeee Tom. He listens to me. He explains everything he is doing and strives to make me happy. He is professional and thoughtful. His conversation is never forced and my time there is enjoyable. This place came highly recommended and it didn’t disappoint.

My visit with the amazing Liz! First just let me say this was the first time I had my make up done. It was my daughters wedding and I didn’t want to stress my self out during the day and just wanted to relax. Liz was so professional in every way. I was so pleased that she was a good listener as I was a little nervous not wanting to look like I had lots of make up on. I cant say enough and I wish i lived closer to see her again for hair. Liz gave me an updo for a wedding. The reasons I’m giving a 5 star review are:
1. Quality — it was clear she is an expert/​perfectionist at updos and did an amazing job. She asked what I had in mind for the updo, and when I asked for something really simple, she made some suggestions to make the look a little more romantic. The updo I ended up with both fit my request and had some nice touches to make it prettier and truly memorable. She was great at understanding my desires, demonstrating alternative ways to meet them, and taking my feedback.
2. Salon — it’s beautiful!
3. Communications — I originally left a voicemail at the salon to book the appointment. Liz followed up promptly and moved an existing appointment to accommodate my limited availability. She also took some time over the phone to understand my hair type in advance.

Tammy is a super talented professional. Her 20 years of experience and expertise is evident in her creative work. She has made two of my friends and myself very happy about the condition and up to date style of our hair! She and Tom have a peaceful, modern salon where the years of combined experience are obvious. The place is chock full of expert hair stylists. You won’t be dissatisfied!

Love montage salon. Liz does my hair and she is awesome! Very nice natural coloring, I get asked all of the time «who does your color?» I have referred friends and family to her and everyone has been happy with her work. The salon is very nice, clean and comfortable. All staff are friendly, highly recommend Montage Salon!

I had a great experience from Elizabeth Gheen at Montage Salon. I received blonde highlights and a haircut from her a few weeks ago and loved the way it turned out! Elizabeth really listened thoughtfully to how I wanted my hair and she is super friendly. Can’t wait to go back to Montage Salon!

Tom does my hair and he is fantastic! An expert with color, he can do gorgeous highlights as well as natural redheads who are getting gray, make it disappear quite naturally. My husb, myself and daughter get haircuts from him and they are perfect.
The shop has a warm décor, friendly staff, and the newest hair products. Very reasonable prices.

Tammy has been doing my hair for years. She takes her time and has a lot of pride in her craft of doing hair. Honest and a super listener. The recent remodel makes it a BEAUTIFUL setting. Everyone is so friendly and you’ll feel like family once you come in.
