History buffs will appreciate the name of this business. There is a good selection of domestic & imported beers, ales, wine & spirits. We are now able to get some of the brews we’ve enjoyed at our favorite pubs at a fraction of the price ($ 5.50/bottle at the pub or $ 12/six pack… hmmmmmm). Much of the beer is in a large cooler with a walk in section… so no waiting for it to chill. In the back there is wine cellar which houses the more expensive wines.
The sales staff are friendly & knowledgeable. Discounts are available if you have their card. The store is clean, brightly lit & well stocked. Only 2 issues:
1: It’s a bit difficult too get into because of the
median on 146^th. No left turn from or onto 146^th
St (eastbound)
2: They’re closed on Sunday [ silly, outdated
Puritanical law: -) ]
