Do-tique

THIS IS NOT A BLOW DRY BAR!!! «Do-​tique» merged with another salon to form «Kiss Kiss Bang Bang» a full service salon. These hair dressers are not trained blow dry specialist. I have been to blow dry bars all over the country most notably «The Dry Bar» in LA and Atlanta. There is a very specific way a blow dry must be done so that your style lasts. Mine usually lasts ATLEAST 4 days and most times I only go once a week. At do-​tique she blew my hair straight then curled it. (Use of a curling iron is not usually needed when getting a pro blow out) It looked great when I left but a few hours later most all of the curl was gone. A good blow dry will give your hair bounce and volume from the root. That is why a good blow dry lasts so long. As of now there is no true blow dry bar in Indianapolis. I will continue to go to my regular hairdresser (who knows how to do a real blow dry) until a real blow dry bar opens that will hopefully offer slightly lower prices than a full service salon. No option for no stars here:(

I’m originally from Chicago but came to Carmel for my brother’s wedding reception. I was able to book an appointment for my mom and I for our hair. The salon is located downtown. Luckily I was able to find parking right outside of it. I did not have to wait long for my stylist but my mom had to wait a little for hers which was the only thing that I could complain about. Our stylist were so sweet and understanding. We were able to walk out of the salon with our hair done exactly the way we wanted it. The pricing is very reasonable. Thank you Do-​Tique for a wonderful experience and taking care of my mother and I on my brother’s big day. If I ever am in Carmel, IN then I will definitely get my hair done here again. I hope they open up a location in Chicago, IL.

I made an appointment here to have my hair done for NYE14. I came right on time and though I had to wait, I was offered a mimosa to relax with. I opted for the wash + blowout, and my stylist did an excellent job. The wash was fantastic, and so relaxing. I asked for beachy waves for my shortish hair, and loved the results! I am looking forward to visiting again!

This place is hands down the best place in the Indianapolis area for a blowout! The salon is adorable and every stylist I’ve had has done an excellent job!

I was in need of a last-​minute blowout in December and was able to book one at 10 p.m. for the next morning on their website. Gigi shampooed and conditioned my hair using some awesome-​smelling products (the shampoo sink chairs even have footrests!) and then went to work on drying and curling my hair.
I thought the end result was awesome, and the curl lasted all day and even looked decent when I woke up the day after.
My only tip would be to book your appointment a few hours before your event — I liked my hair when it was first done, but it looked even better hours later after the curl had some time to fall a bit.

When in town for a wedding, I booked a style and massage with this fabulous little gem. The scalp massage was the best I’ve ever gotten at a blow out bar, ever. And my hair lasted all weekend! I wish I could remember my stylists name because she is so worth a mention. Very friendly and great at her job. I highly recommend this location! I just wish it was in Atlanta.

Wonderful place! Beautifully appointed and everyone is friendly and professional. I was able to schedule two simultaneous appointments to get ready for wedding festivities, which is ideal when there is an event to go to. Both gals did a great job from start to finish! It turns out my stylist had to head out for a flight right after she was done but I never felt rushed or that she was distracted. Brava ladies! Keep up the good (beautiful) work!

I was so glad to see the addition of a blow-​dry bar in Carmel and Do-​tique lived up to all my expectations! The interior is chic, stylish and makes you feel glamorous while getting your hair done. Kayla did a fantastic job and was very friendly! I received so many compliments on my hair at my event and will most definitely be back. I was able to get out of there for $ 42 (including a 20% tip), much less than a traditional salon would charge and it was worth every penny. Definitely a must-​try for your next event!

A MUST!!! First time as a customer and absolutely loved it! Amazing décor throughout, made me feel glamorous without even having anything done yet.
All the women in there are extremely awesome and friendly! And had a chance of meeting the owner and she happened to shampoo my hair (loved it) !!
My stylist Britney was awesome! Loved my hair and trust me I’m a huge hair person. Do not like trying new places! My sister had a bridal photo shoot and wanted her hair done and I decided to tag along and I will definitely make it in there again! They all did awesome on each woman that we saw in there and I saw nothing but smiles! A whole lot of tease and hair is exactly what I love and that’s what I got!
Wish we could have booked them for my sisters bridal party but unfortunately we already had someone! :(oh well, doesn’t stop us from making routine visits there!
