Edible Arrangements

My daughter wanted chocolate dipped strawberries instead of a birthday cake for her Sweet 16. I went to Edible Arrangements and they helped me pick out an arrangement. I explained that it was taking the place of the cake and the sales lady assured me that I had ordered the largest arrangement and it would definitely replace a cake. I asked for 8 chocolate covered bananas and the number 16 in a pineapple cut out. When I picked up the arrangement I almost fell over. I waited until the last minute to take advantage of their refrigeration… if I had picked it up earlier in the day, I would have refused the order but I found myself without options. I COULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB MYSELF. The strawberries were puny and BARELY dipped. The pineapple cut out was NOTHING like what was represented in the catalogue. For that matter, neither was the arrangement. How they could get away with charging that kind of money for this kind of awful is beyond me. My kitchen shears were not much smaller than the arrangement. I took a picture with them for contrast. I wish I could post the picture so you could see how awful this arrangement is. I highly recommend that if you are going to order, don’t trust ANY PICTURES YOU SEE IN THEIR CATALOGUES and don’t trust the sales people. This one lied to me and my husband is now out buying a Carvel Cake.

Terrific service! I placed an order online at a little after 12 pm & the store was preparing it within a couple of hours and had it on the delivery truck already when I called to check status around 4 pm. I spoke with Marsha at the store & she was just lovely, even wishing me a safe drive home since snow was expected. My friend who received the gift (which was 2 dozen assorted chocolate strawberries) said they were really good and that the presentation was beautiful. Same day delivery as promised. Overall all a very pleasant experience.
