Going to the dentist is never easy. It can be unpleasant, painful at times, and awkward. However Nancy Halsema’s office made my experience at the dentist comfortable, enjoyable, and educational. Unfortunately for me I had to have a cavity filled and as painful and annoying as that can be they had ear phones and music to block out the strange drilling sounds and a TV to keep your mind off of the things that are really happening in your mouth. I must admit these distractions don’t totally make everything go away but they sure helped. Their office is really nice, clean, and organized. The dental equipment and tools they use seem to be top of the line and efficient. In the waiting room there were magazines splayed out, a flat screen TV, and a little coffee machine(although I wasn’t offered anything, being that you’re at the dentist to have your mouth cleaned I’m not sure it’s intended for the customers) The woman at the front desk promptly welcomed me to the office and made me feel as comfortable as one can be at the dentist. The hygienists are extremely thorough, very friendly, and offer a caring yet motherly stern assessment on the things you can work on to better your dental health. All of the staff are very personable, knowledgeable, and great at their job. I felt I was provided the best care possible.
