Nice little shop. Carries Cece Caldwell chalk paint (specific reason I came in to visit), was able to use their discount deal and saved some money. Shopping on a budget in Carmel, who knew?

This is a must-​stop during my trips to Carmel. If you’re a fan of hunting for vintage gems or gently used name-​brand goods at a bargain, Ritzy Ragz is an important resource. From J-​Crew to Chanel, prêt-​à-​porter to couture, they have a solid selection. You have to dig a bit for the more «youthful» styles, but I always find something to take home.
The price tags may look high, but there is usually a sale going on (25% store-​wide, for example). Even better, I always use their incredible Unilocal Check-​In offer — 50% off any regular priced item. This makes anything I’m on the fence about a total YES.
I’ve bought a lovely Sandro wool sweater, J Crew slacks, and a Nanette Lepore silk tank during my trips here. Shoes & accessories are abundant, too.

Today they had 25% store wide. Didn’t seem to find any blouses but found a fur vest that I will have forever for such a good price! Best purchase I have made in a while… The associate there was sweet and gave a little extra deal on the fur!
Checked in after and now have 50% off an item! Guess I will be back.

Amazing prices and selection. I love being able to buty a silk scarf anf not feel like i paid a arm and a leg. The staff was friendly and helpful. Designer clothes as bargin prices.

I like this place, and everything is in good condition, but I still feel the prices are higher than they need to be, especially on the non-​designer stuff, and most especially if the item is a basic and nothing special, ya know? Lots of contemporary labels, which I like – Rag & Bone, Current/​Elliott, and a really big selection (especially style wise – white, bleached, skinny, wide leg) of jeans.

I was a ONE time customer and I will never shop there again! I had the most awful and disheartening experience of my life. On 1÷20÷13 I made a significant purchase at the Ritzy Ragz & Thingz in Carmel Ca. I purchased a LV suitcase when I lightly packed the suitcase for the very first time the handle broke off. I called the store and spoke with the store clerk, store manager and finally the store owner over a matter of weeks I was given the same answer «Their is nothing we can do for you! «We are not responsible». The owner did not attempt or wish to resolve my issue. I had no other recourse but to dispute the charges with my credit card company. The owner took the time and effort to dispute my charge BUT she had no interest in taking time to try and resolve the issue with me as a paying customer. So please be very careful when making a purchase as you can see I am out $ 1396.43 and a broken suitcase I can not use.

When you walk into Ritzy Rags, you’re immediately greeted with a friendly welcome and an explanation of the tags that are on sale for the day. They have different colored tags that note which items are on sale. There was also an amazing $ 20 rack of final sale items. THere were great designer pieces on this rack too! The store has a lot of merchandise, but since it’s organized by size, it makes it very manageable and you can go through the whole store in a reasonable amount of time. I found a lot of amazing designer pieces, not just your typical old school brands either like Chanel, Ferragamo, etc. But interesting newer designers like Blumarine and Nanette Lepore. I didn’t end up buying anything when I visited this time, but that definitely doesn’t mean I won’t be back!

I have been a long term customer of Ritzy Ragz and cannot tell you how many good deals I’ve scored there. Practically brand new, gorgeous DVF jacket, a Tahari skirt for practically cents on the dollar when they had their coupon day and some other goodies. A Chanel case for my glasses that I needed so badly. Their staff has always been attentive and courteous. I am sure that Carol T’s was an isolated incident and we cannot rate the overall qualityf of this store because of this calculated shoplifting event. Believe me, when people are out to do something, they will find a way to get it no matter how much you protect it or lock it up. My experience has been nothing but the best with Ritzy Ragz. You will find an array of vintage, modern and new items.

I really like their new location and space much better than the previous one down the street. The staff is over the top helpful and very friendly! I am quite certain that (Carol T.) has a most unusual experience with her fur, It is unfortunate that a professional thief made off that day. But, (blank) happens somtimes to good people. I feel her pain. Personally, I would recommend Ritzy!
