Rolling Asian Delight

I generally love food trucks when the food is of high quality. This food truck had excellent food when I visited Indianapolis. Not only do they not use any MSG or other preservatives but they had all the best Americanized Chinese Food dishes available (including fortune cookies for dessert), and as I was visiting the USA it was a great opportunity to have some Americanized Chinese food dishes that I don’t often see at home. The staff member working in the truck was super friendly and the food arrived quickly after my ordering.
There was a good amount of vegetables, fried food, and otherwise in my combo lunch and I felt great after eating it. It filled me up very well and the truck didn’t have too long of a line either.

They were here yesterday parked at Riley Hospital. The wait was very long, but its pretty understandable only one person working the kitchen. I think it was a mother and son team. They probably should hire more help. I ordered the Sunny Asian Chicken tacos. It comes with two and it was asian fusion tacos. It was almost like fried rice in a tortilla and tell you the truth it actually was good. It was very flavorful. I wish I could give them 5 stars but the long wait, and also they take your name for your order but they dont call out your name. The lady just leaves your ordered at the window. Weird. How would one know if there order is ready? I guess you just have to be attentive and nosy your way to see if the your name is on the order. Also, they should have complimentary siracha hot sauce. It really does enhance the flavor of the food. Good thing i keep a bottle in my office. Overall good food and will definitely try again.

The crab rangoons are delicious! Maybe the best I’ve ever had. I also got the Kung Pao chicken, multigrain fried rice and veggies. It was all delicious, came out fast and I ate it without feeling like total crap afterward. Huge plus! I like being able to continue working after lunch. :) The food was ready super fast and the people in the truck were very, very nice. All around great experience. I hope they come back to Georgia Street soon!

I might brave this truck again and see if I have a better experience. I feel so guilty being the first review and only giving them 2 stars! However, it took 35 minutes to get through a line of 4 people and receive our food.
The quality of the food ingredients was excellent — fresh veggies and good quality chicken. However, the flavor just was not there. The fried rice noodles and Thai coconut chicken were pretty tasteless and bland, and there was no coconut flavor at all. The mushrooms were chewy to the point of almost being inedible. The beef potstickers were good, but it was not enough to save the meal. They are a new truck, so fingers crossed that they improve with flavor and speed.
