Smokers are always sitting and smoking at the tables on the sidewalk right at the entrance. Then when you go inside, the place smells like smoke, even though we’ve had a smoking ban for years. We’ve tried this place twice, but the smell of smoke and horribly loud jukebox music are enough to prevent us from going back. That type of atmosphere is not our thing, and I certainly wouldn’t call it family friendly.

Sat at the bar today for lunch. Found many problems. The bartender was short and kinda rude to us. The menu lacked in description if the food entailed. Food was decent but not looking to come back

Three D’s was a nice restaurant and pub. We had the nachos which had a delicious spiced chicken on them… but it seemed that the cheese was regular ball park nacho cheese. Not a big deal, but with a custom cheese(and maybe I am wrong) I think they could be a whole lot better. The beer specials were $ 3 for domestic beers… not bad, but I am not sure if that is a special in most places. Our server was great and funny and we enjoyed him very much. Overall, Three D’s was a good Monday night«grab a beer and app» night.

How can this place be family friendly when you have to walk through a cloud of smoke to get into the place! Sign clearly states no smoking within 8 feet of door. I turned around as I thought family friendly meant no smoking.

Girlfriend and I tried it out. Had a few issues with this place. It smells like the inside of a fish tank which makes me think it isn’t cleaned often. Very slow bartender, super drunk and annoying regulars. Won’t be back.

All sorts of nope. First opinion on walking into Three D’s was a shockingly strong smell of smoke. I can’t imagine what it used to be like if it still smells like my grandma’s house 2.5 years after the smoking ban was enacted. It bothered me the entire time I was there. The bar area was packed when we were there, with no tables to speak of. It seemed that the clientele was a solid group of regulars. The dining area was totally empty. The food was a mixed bag between OK and horrible. The nachos were good. Well distributed toppings with cheese throughout. The ribs were also decent, still nothing to write home about. My wife’s burger was cold and dry. She barely got through 2 bites before surrendering it to the bus boy. Very disappointing. Service was great. No complaints there, but the food and the atmosphere left a lot to be desired.

$ 5 cover in the back room We were there for the entertainment but the I was not very impressed by the atmosphere. For a Saturday night the front room was pretty much deserted. The back room was definitely crowded but not maxed out and was filled single middle-aged women shaking it on the tiny dance floor… The service was pretty slow and they tried to overcharge us for the night’s special. The waitress was very apologetic but still took a while to straighten everything out. Wasn’t the worse place I’ve ever been but I don’t have a desire to go back.

Our server, Nicki, was amazing. She knew the food and whiskey! I don’t find many waitresses that know single malts and Irish whiskey… so I was impressed. They had a live band that night ‘recoil’ and the band was superb! Between the decent priced, great tasting food, the above average, knowledgeable staff and the spectacular band… how could you go wrong?

The former Mickey’s Pub had already drawn me in, but now as Three Ds, it is even better! It is now non-smoking inside, so I don’t reek when I get home. It is family friendly until 9pm. There are still popular live bands on the weekends, live trivia on Tuesdays, and other fun things through the week. The drink specials are good, there are more tvs that have been added, and there are always new improvements happening that make it better each time we go back. The menu is new, and there is something for everyone from pizza and wings to mexican entrees to pasta, and they serve breakfast! I ALWAYS have fun when we go there, and the staff are really great people! There is limited outdoor seating, but beware that it is where the smokers go to smoke.

Three Ds’ keeps the spirit alive of former Mickey’s Irish Pub but with some nice improvements. Don’t worry, though, the friendly staff we know and love are still here! Now non-smoking and family-friendly until 9pm, we can bring the kiddoos for some breakfast or chicken tenders. Menu options include diner favorites(turkey manhattan, ribs), lots of appetizers, burgers, pizza, salads, and a good selection of Mexican dishes. Daily Specials vary: Mondays are $ 3 domestics and 50cent wings. The perfectly grilled Black & Bleu burger with a side salad and vinaigrette met Atkins’ diet standards deliciously. But I had to splurge on the Fried Mushrooms. Fried items are cooked to order, not frozen, in a light, crispy breading. These mushrooms are shockingly low on grease and simply taste great. I’ll be back to try the sandwich wraps — buffalo chicken, veggie and more. The new gourmet coffee bar offers a Seattle blend and specialty teas. Always a good selection on tap & always a smile from the staff. The backroom still offers fun, local, live music. Need some stage practice with a live crowd? Wednesdays are now Open Mic Night — just be sure to call ahead so they can schedule you or your band. Thursdays are Karaōke from 8pm — midnight.
