I came in around 8pm and by the time I was ready to check out it was about 10:30PM. There were no registers open at all. The only option was to use the self check out. I don’t have a problem with self check out, except when I have about 70 items. The attendant walked away when we approached the register, and never once asked if we needed help with anything. I had several very large items that could have easily been scanned at a regular register. And for this I will never ever shop at Walmart again, and I will not be renewing my Sam’s club membership either.

Went into the store to get green ligjts for greenligjt a vet event. Could not find them. Went to customer service desk not only could they not help, but had no clue what the green light event was. I mean come on the company is a big suppoter of it. Ran into the Assistant Manager. Who was setting up seasonal. He walked me back to where they were. This act is what moved them from a 1 star to a 3.

I was needing some business software and found it online at for $ 177 instead of $ 220+ at other stores. It had the option to purchase online(shipping or store delivery) and also showed that it was available in the Carmel store. I went in and, on the shelf, it was $ 210. I figured it wasn’t a problem as they are ALWAYS badgering you about their price matching so I take it up to the checkout and show them the online price. A manager comes up and tells me «We don’t match our online prices.» Ummmmm… WHAT!!! So they will match the price of another store but not the online version of their own store? While I recognize that the brick and mortar and online stores likely function separately, that is not really my problem as a consumer. This is awful customer service and just another thing in a long list of while I almost never shop at Wal-Mart. Additionally, this is obviously a policy set at a higher level and not the handiwork of the cashier or manager, but neither one apologized for the inconvenience or said I’m sorry. So, in the end I could have bought it for $ 200 but I left it and will buy it for $ 200 from someplace else. I won’t step foot in a walmart if I can avoid it.

The pharmacy has a system where they can send you a text to let you know your prescription is ready. I killed time in the store for 90 minutes when I finally went up to the counter to inquire when it would be finished. It was ready. They just shrugged it off that sometimes the system doesn’t send texts… that they are send from a remote office location. Well, I received the text about 9 hours later. Worthless. Waste of my time. As far as the store goes… it is a Walmart. It is what it is. Fortunately, there is a Target close by.

I really despise Walmart. While this Walmart has done some major improvements to the grocery section, it still lacks in other areas of the store. Narrow aisles, empty shelves and less than caring employees makes for a very disappointing shopping trip. While I understand the appeal of lower prices and a huge selection of items, I just hate shopping here. Meijer has the same low prices, a huge assortment of items and it is less hectic and stressful!

You never really know how good a store is until you see how they handle the problems. I Googled a specific men’s shaver and Walmart advertised it for $ 125 so I went into the store to purchase it. It rang up $ 147.99. After waiting in line for 30 minutes already, I was irate when the manager told me they don’t match their online store. I showed him my phone and asked him to show me where it said the price was online only and he could not. I had a clear example of deceptive advertising and these smug and rude unprofessionals didn’t care. I was astounded particularly since I have shopped in this store three to five times a week. I went over to Best Buy and got the shaver for $ 125 plus points. I am not shopping at Walmart because they are dishonest people who do not value their customers.

I wont be shopping at Walmart as a store ever again. Its pretty sad when a customer has to go to district and corporate to get a refund on a faulty product. Return policies are made up on the spot.

For a Walmart, I give this particular store 3 stars because I do like the improvements they have made recently. However, yesterday I stopped in to grab a few items and develop some photos and I noticed the following: First, why are the restrooms located near the back of the store? I don’t understand that concept. If you use said facilities prior to shopping it seems like your experience would be more pleasant than having to trek to the back of the store before you start shopping and you’ve already passed half of the stuff you would like to dump in your cart… I mean at that point you’re just wandering around all over the place like a lost puppy Second, why do you need two associates in the photo lab area if they are both just standing back there chit chatting? Seems like a waste. Plus, they weren’t overly friendly by any means. I will continue to shop here since grocery items tend to be cheaper than Marsh or Kroger but will certainly go to Marsh over Walmart if I need to use the restroom before I start any serious shopping! Ha.

I don’t think that there was one good thing to say about this place. As I walked in the door greeter said to me «Woo almost time for break.» instead of hello. The boys working at the deli let me stand there for 8 minutes before saying or acknowledging me. They were slicing meat and I thought that maybe it was for a customer who stepped away so I didn’t want to be rude. But they were just filling up their case. I ordered turkey and cheese and it took another 15 minutes because they were just totally in slow motion. I wanted to scream and pull my hair out. The one kid asked me 3 different times how much I wanted weight wise. The cashier was rude when I was paying. The system crashed while I was there and leaving a different door guy was just sitting there and a elderly lady and I fixed the carpet that was bent over so no one tripped on it. HORRIBLE!
