Bob’s Quality New & Used Tires & Wheels

This is, hands down, the best place in the Sacramento area to buy tires and also to go to for repairs. Not only do they have unbeatable prices on new tires, they are also totally honest and trustworthy. Yesterday my tire pressure warning light went on and because it was a Sunday, I had to take it to another tire service center because Bob’s was closed. After charging me a $ 21.95 inspection fee, these people told me that I did not have a leak in any of the tires; that the problem was that the pressure was low on three of my tires because the tires were worn out and needed to be replaced. They also claimed they’d filled the three «worn out» tires with air. I was skeptical of this diagnosis, because my tires only have 35,000 miles on them, and typically the warning light only goes on when there is a leak in one of the tires. Sure enough, on my way home the warning light went on again, and I called them immediately, but was told the technicians had already left for the day. This morning I went to Bob’s, where they found a leak in one of my tires due to a small nail. They also told me that none of my tires needed to be replaced, that they still have roughly 50 percent life on them. Because my boyfriend and I are regular customers, they did not charge me for removing the nail and patching the tire.

Best tire shop in town! What service! I got a screaming deal on my first visit, so I decided to come back once I got a flat on a different car. I asked for a replacement, but they discovered a screw in my tire and patched it up instead. When I pulled out my wallet, I was told it was on the house, and that they appreciated my repeat business.
In my opinion, this is what being a good neighbor is all about.

These guys are close to the house, so I use them for my tire needs when I can. Always great service. Today they fixed my tire after I had a rock go through the tread. I had my USAF field jacket in the back and when they saw it, they figured out I am a veteran and refused to take any payment for a simple fix. Thanks guys!

I recently got a bolt stuck in the tread of my run flat tire. These guys were friendly and quick with getting my tire patched and me back on the road. Before buying a new tire check here and see if it can be repaired or replaced with a used one they may have at a much lower cost!

I wont go anywhere else. These guys will treat you good. I am new to Carmichael and glad to have found them! I have 3 vehicles and they can have all my business. Thanks again guys!

Awesome dudes, I came in to get a used tire because my current one couldn’t hold air. Instead they had me pull around back where they found out I had a bad valve steam, which they fixed for me. I was in and out in 5 minute and saved money. I’ll definitely be back when it’s time for a new set of tires.
Go to this shop it’s awesome to give business to the small local shops.

Great service! I had a leak in one tire from three screws. The employee who helped me was professional and quick. It was just $ 10 to fix the leak and I was on my way in no time. They guarantee the patch to hold for the lifetime of the tire. And so far, so good. I’ve since been on a four hour road trip through the mountains and its held up just fine.

These guys are awesome! I’ve had multiple tire repairs and purchased used tires here. Great service, friendly guys and no pressure to spend more than you want. Also they don’t make you feel stupid if you don’t now everything about cars! Will be a returning customer and refer friends.

I don’t normally write reviews. I’m writing this so that other people can avoid what these guys have done to my tires and my pockets. I had 2 tires mounted by them because I naively thought it would be cheaper than letting the big shops do it, but they basically ripped me off, by not doing the mount properly so I would come back to them. So I had a flat and I went to a different shop, because I felt off about how my tire got flat. I was right. The other shop, «america’s tires» showed me the rips on my tires on the inside, because they did a f#%^ing sloppy job on mounting them. Obviously costed me more.

Got there 5 minutes before they closed and still gave me great service and fixed my flat. Manager was friendly and gave great customer service. I will definitely return!

$ 45 out the door for a 225÷55÷18 tire.
Dudes were legit, quoted the price over the phone, said they had 8 tires in that size and it appears I will get about 15,000k miles off this one. Price includes mounting and balancing and labor and tax. Warranty good for 90 days. They have a couple garage spaces behind the place where they install new and used tires for people. The two guys working there are sports fans so we had a good conversation while they went about their business.
I would recommend this place since they are honest, cool and do good work.

I stoped in here and was greeted as soon as i got in the door. Talked to a man that showed me a used tire, after looking at it i had seen it had a plug in it. And i asked him how much he told me 35 and 12.50 for labor. I pointed out the plug and it told me that makes no difference its still a good tire??? So having a slow leak i agreed and they did the work and 5 min later i was called to the garage and was told one of my bolts was striped (Which he blamed it on the guy that changed it last) and then to top it off i was charged 50 bucks grand total… SMH wont never go back here.

I have to give a HUGE THANK YOU to the guys at Bob’s tonight! It was 2 minutes to closing but my tire just gave out! I know the guys were tired after a long days work, but as soon as I told them what happened, with a huge smile they told me to pull around back and they’d help me out. I’ve never had anyone willingly stay late (though I know they do not want to make a practice of this) and help me out! I am beyond grateful for these guys!!! Thank you so much!

I recently had the unpleasant experience of a flat tire on the I-​5 highway. Expecting the worst I immediately called in unavailable to work for tomorrow and was excused.
After a good friend helped me on my way on a 50 – 50 spare, I drove home «40÷20».
I foresaw no way of changing my tires before 9.
But I checked Bob’s Tires’ weekly hours and it showed «Open 7am.»
So I went in. I asked the mechanic to check the other tires too. There was only one good tire! He and I agreed to change ALL of my tires and gave me a $ 10 credit for the good one. He charged only $ 35 per tire, so the total came to $ 130 for a matching set of four.
He had it ready in under 30 minutes. I called in available to work, and made it there with time to spare (no pun intended)!

Need new tires we thought for our X5. We called ahead to see if they had used tires as well since we are planning on selling it privately.
The guy we spoke to on the phone helped us immediately after we came in and was very honest about not purchasing tires if we plan on selling it and the ones we had were in great condition. I really appreciated his honesty.
We are having this noise when we are turning which made us think it was tires. He was nice and said to bring it in back to see if they could help us figure out what the sound is. He checked it out and said it was steering fluid that was needed. Didn’t charge us a thing. We wanted to tip him but we didn’t have cash. He said no problem just to come back in the future. We will definitely be back.

I had a slow leak in my tire and Bob’s is around the corner from my house so I took my car there. I would give this place 5 stars, however one of the guys there is INCREDIBLY rude. He has ZERO customer service skills whatsoever. However, there was one guy that saved the day.
My husband had taken my car over there the day before, but the guy he spoke to was so rude, my husband left and told me to take the car back myself.
I had to wait about 20 minutes after I walked in, to get my tire checked. I didn’t think it was that long, but after the nice guy came out and told me there was a nail in my tire and since I had to wait «so long», they were not going to charge me. I thought that was a really nice gesture.
The place is no frills, and this was my first experience with them. The guy with the attitude obviously knows how to do his job, however he should probably not be dealing with customers.
