I am an appraiser in the Portland, Oregon area and I have been reading Ryan Lundquist’s appraisal blog and sending him appraisal referrals for years. Ryan is not only the one of the best appraisers in Sacramento, but he is one of the most respected appraisers in the country. Not only is Ryan extremely good at what he does, he is a kind and humble sole who is willing to help anyone, even his community and competition. If you don’t believe me, just take a minute to read some of the articles written about him, watch a few of his YouTube videos, read some of the comments on his blog and his courteous and intelligent responses, or watch one of videos where he is interviewed by the news. I would send my own grandma to Ryan for an appraisal and I would trust him to watch my kids. Anyone who does not give Ryan a five star rating probably just did not want his honest opinion.

I called Ryan to get some information about how much an unfinished part of the home would affect the appraisal. He provided some insight on this and earned a potential future client. He provided this knowing we would most likely not be able to work together on this refinance. He also e-mailed me a document that would assist the appraiser in calculating the valuation. Ryan is top shelf. I appreciate an honest business.

My brother and I had been unsure of what to do with my mothers house in Rancho Cordova after we inherited it. We hired Ryan Lundquist to do an appraisal and it has made all the difference. The appraisal included detailed comparisons to similar houses in the area with different levels of improvements. This helped us decide how much we needed to put into the house before selling it. We also have a great deal of confidence in the value he came up with because of all the bar charts and supporting data. Ryan arrived on time to our appointment, took pictures and was efficient and professional. The report arrived just when he said it would. We are very happy with the work done by Lundquist appraisal company.

We started off on a bad note from the get go. Ryan, the appraisal inspector, first asked to reschedule our initial appraisal appointment after we had already taken the day off for him. A week later, Ryan, called to let us know that he had to re-take our home photos. It was on a Sunday in the evening… we were out of town and he had to re-take pictures in the daylight. We had to cut our celebration short due to this. Any responsible inspector would have checked all the pictures for quality before leaving the premises. Any mortgage company should relook at using this vendor. If we could not rely on the inspector assigned to gather the data from our home, how were we to trust that the appraisal report? We paid a fee of $ 450 for subpar service.

Every time I have recommended /suggested someone to use Lundquist Appraisal company to either a friend or client, I am always told what a gentleman he is, honest, ethical, and hard-working(and most importantly — what a great job he did for them). We met Ryan online, and he is not only great at what he does, he is appreciated for his service and professionalism. I have never been so impressed with a vendor related to our field. I am always hesitant to refer someone unless I know they can extend the same type of service I put forth to those I work with and for … but Lundquist appraisal fits that bill. If you’re looking for an appraiser in the Sacramento or great Sacramento area, I highly encourage you call Ryan. I write with first-hand knowledge(and numerous experiences) of his work ethic and attention to detail with property info gathering. I can say with confidence, you won’t be disappointed using Lundquist appraisal. If you think this is much too gooshy-mooshy of a review, just visit his spectacular blog, and you’ll figure it out quickly that he’s sharp, knowledgeable, and takes extreme pride in his business.
