Amazing waffles, best coffee I have ever had anywhere in Sacramento, and always friendly customer service.

This guy makes one hell of a waffle. I also got an iced coffee that was good too. Certainly worth checking out.

Found this place on Unilocal, had to give it a try. I had«the most wanted«with strawberries and blueberries, and a Carmel frape. Both were delicious. The man who runs it is very nice and likes to give you the background about what you are getting. Everything was fresh and very yummy.

Went here with my boyfriend and we explained that it was our first time there. Terry, the owner, was super nice and explained to us the menu as well as how a belgian waffle differs from american ones. We got the Most Wanted and the Chocolate Most Wanted and both were delicious! I also got the Caramel frapper and it was really sweet so I loved it. Definitely coming again.

Coffee was really good. Waffle was alright, not what I expected from all the good reviews. The owner was informative and super nice. I would return for the coffee but wouldn’t go out of my way for their waffles

Delicious. Never had a waffle like this before. Not huge waffles. But definitely filling. Happy employees as well, very welcoming and seemed to have fun doing their job.

This review is long overdue, I stop here almost daily for his unique flavored coffee. You can’t even compare the absolute deliciousness to those liquid syrup sweetened coffees from other places nearby, absolute best taste you will find. Next; waffles. These are the treat that everyone should try. «The most wanted» is my favorite, with whipped cream, strawberries, add a little Nutella drizzle? Absolute greatest treat you could ever ask for. Until he changed the game with this cookie butter he has… To die for! So delicious! I remember taking my ex girlfriend to the farmers market every weekend specifically for these waffles. Now that he has his own place in carmichael, open daily? I’m in heaven. Terry is awesome, always great conversation, friendly and always makes sure that you like what you got. Always going the extra step for his customers. Keep up the great work terry, I’m glad to see your business striving and I hope that anyone reading this stops by for a waffle soon!

So I was taking my coworker out for her going-away lunch and we were stopped at a red light on Manzanita. She looks over at VolksWaffle longingly and says, «damn we never did get to try that place.» «Oh hell no,» I tell her. «Today is the day!» So we roll up in the mini drive thru next to the bright red booth in the Med 7/Goodwill parking lot and tell the owner that we are beyond excited to finally check this place out. He asks us if we want the skinny on the waffles and proceeds to tell us a brief history on his Belgian family’s liege waffles and how they import the goods from back home. Here’s the bottom line: unless you have actually been to Belgium(as I have) you have NEVER tasted a waffle this good. It’s scrumptious, delicious, and downright ridiculous how good these taste.

I stopped by today to get a vanilla latte, I’ve been by here before but have never stopped. Terry explained to me that they used real Belgium dark and white chocolate for their flavoring unlike the chains that just use a syrup. I tasted my drink and it was really good. He then asked me if I’d like to try a waffle and of course I said yes. He explained that it was made by a traditional Liege dough imported from Belgium. He added some strawberries, powdered sugar, Nutella sauce and a taste of cookie butter. As I ate it, it was amazing. Not like a conventional waffle but a whole lot better. I would even eat this waffle without any toppings. I will be back again, thank you Terry!

Ok if you haven’t tried this spot yet and you live in the area, you have to stop by! Coffee is good and the waffles are amazing. All imported ingredients staff is super friendly. I had the waffle with strawberries, it was gone in two seconds. My coffee was delicious, I’m definitely coming back.

So good! Little on the pricy side(6 bucks for a waffle) but definitely tasty. I’m sure we will be back.

Have been receiving excellent customer service from the gentleman who runs the place, since I visited him at Carmichael park farmers market. I have enjoyed the fact the weather I saw him last week or last month he always remembers me by name as well. I have been so glad he has a permanent location now always recommend this business to my friends.

Went there for the first time today and the owner was super nice and helpful. And the waffle was AMAZING. Definitely will be coming back to try all the others, I love that it’s close to my house too.

I love this place. The chocolate dipped most wanted is one of the best things ever. I’m pretty bummed they’re not open on the weekends or the evenings anymore. That means I’ll pretty much won’t be able to get a waffle now…

I came to Volkswaffle one morning before work because I end up driving by it almost everyday and I have heard a lot of good things. It’s nice and convenient because you can drive up to the window and order from your car, but it’s also a little awkward because you can also walk up to the window and order too which is what the people in front of me did. I didn’t want to freak them out so I allowed adequate space, but it’s just a little different. I had never had a liege waffle before but love watching The Great Food Truck Race which just had the«Waffle Love» food truck that was super popular so I was having a craving. I got the Most Wanted which was a liege waffle topped with strawberries, whipped cream and Nutella drizzle. I don’t normally like fruit for breakfast, but it was a perfect combination with the sweet and crunchy waffle. I don’t like whipped cream so I took it off, and I couldn’t taste the Nutella sauce so I just wish it had a little more. Only compliant. If you’re wondering what a «liege waffle» tastes like I would describe it as a donut waffle. Nice and crispy and sweet. Sugar comes out of the waffle when it cooks, so it creates a nice glaze. Way more filling than a regular waffle, and tastes 100x better. The owner was working when I went and was super super nice and personable. He gave me a nice sized sample of their Mocha and it was definitely the BEST mocha I have ever had. Just the right amount of sweetness without being overbearing. AND it has two shots of espresso included which gives a nice buzz. I will definitely be getting this again! I’m already planning my return trip! I hope they’re here for a very long time.

I drove past here this last weekend and was so intrigued, I stopped on Monday for a mid-morning snack. I had ‘The Most Wanted’, which had the most delicious Belgian chocolate, organic strawberries, whipped cream and a drizzle of Nutella. The owner was there and was very nice and told me a little bit of the preparation that goes into each waffle. It was nice, he turned it from ‘just getting a snack’, to an experience. Price was 6.75, which I felt was very reasonable considering the quality of what you get. I literally had to pull over and start eating on the spot – it was that enticing looking! As I thanked the owner he encouraged me to tell my friends… well Unilocalers! Head on over to Volkswaffle – you won’t be disappointed!

This place is awesome. Owner was super nice and explained what’s special about their authentic Belgian waffles and all the options. I had«The Most Wanted» a vanilla waffle with powdered sugar, strawberries, whipped cream and liquid Nutella on top. My daughter had«The Purist» a vanilla waffle with a dusting of powdered sugar. I also ordered a delicious iced coffee. The entire ride home was filled with yummy noises and happy smiles. So so so so good! Seriously, go… go now. Let’s please keep these guys around, I need waffles forever!

Some Unilocaler post the waffle picture made me drool so i decide to stop by this place, on Unilocal the address is in Lincoln area. but when I’m there i didn’t even see any place sell waffle, till i checked their website. finally i found it is in Carmichael, i drove there is take 30minutes but yeay. I’m crazy just for when I’m there the owner told me that his waffle is different from other waffle, i ordered 5waffles with chocolate because they run out for vanilla waffle. i paid $ 29.75 for 5waffles, actually is kinda pricey just for waffle but since the owner nice so i don’t really care for that price. Business hour is 7am-2:30pm mon-sat 7am-2pm sun Is better if come early in the morning because their make it fresh Waffle is not too sweet and was good

This review is for the B&M location on Manzanita in Carmichael. I really did not want to write this review, but after so many attempts to try this place I am pretty upset. I have never seen their food truck before. After driving by and seeing this location, it sounded interesting and I Googled them. Their website does not mention this location, only the food truck, so there are no hours posted. I found a news article saying they were open from 6 am to 7 pm. A week later I drive by at 6:30 pm to find them closed and no hours posted. I look at their Facebook page, and on July 8th they posted their hours as 6 am to 5:30 pm M-F and 8 am to 2 pm Sat. Great. So today, Saturday July 18th, I make a special trip out of my way to come at 9:15 am, only to find different hours posted. However, according to the sign, they should have opened at 8:45 am, but they are obviously closed. I really want to try one of these waffles, but they clearly don’t want business.
