Little Snips

I love this salon. We have been coming here since my son had his first haircut there. He loves the seats with the police car, airplane and fire engine. My son is currently 21 months old and we just made another appointment to get his haircut there again. The stylists move quickly to get the haircut done before my son freaks out. They also do an amazing job in such a short amount of time.

I have been bringing my son Andrew here since he was 10 months old. I am always taken back for my appointment right away and Kristy is so kind and nice to him and me. We love going here and we travel over 30 minutes to get there once a month.
I have never been treated poorly nor heard anyone else treated poorly. I don’t understand these reviews. All my mom friends go here and love it, I know at least 20 other mom friends that love it.
Please check it out! Its the best place for a child’s hair cut, especially young child. They can sit in fire trucks and other vehicles for their hair cut and they can watch their favorite shows. What more can you ask for?

Thoroughly disgusted!!! We called ahead to check if we can take our two month old and they said it’s a relatively free day and we don’t need an appointment. So I waited for my little one to be in a good mood and took her there. There was only one girl available and she was waiting for her client to show up. She looked at her appointment book and said I can schedule an appointment for you. I did not take my two month old there to get an appointment!!! I expected a little bit more friendliness from a salon that’s meant for little kids. They need a lot more than chairs that look like cars and plane.

This place is horrible. If you care about customer service and nice place with people who care about kids, then don’t go here.
The woman who attended us should be fired from this salon for being rude and not kid friendly. I do not want my kids to experience this kind of people or places.

My daughter got her first haircut here and loved it. She is usually apprehensive and prone to melt-​downs with new experiences, but her excitement about sitting in a police car and watching kids tv during the haircut negated any apprehension. There were toys in the waiting area, everyone was friendly, it was quick (10 minutes), and cheap ($ 15). I thought it was perfect for toddlers.
If you want to spend a few hours in the area, try E2 toys to try next door. They have a large playroom for your kids to play for $ 8 per kid. They have a great selection of creative play toys/​areas good for toddlers — I’d say up to age 5. There’s tables for parents to sit with wifi.

I have had three experiences with little snips, one meh, one not-​so-​good and one downright terrible. My first time in I was just attempting to make an appointment, I stood there for 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged my presence, only then to be told someone would come help me soon. After another 5 minutes I decided it wasn’t worth my time to wait around, it didn’t seem like anyone cared that I was there. My second experience I actually got an appointment but the lady was snippy because we were a few minutes late. Ok fine, sorry I was a little late, but this set my two year old off on the wrong foot. We want this to be a positive experience for him and are expecting that out of a children’s salon. He could totally read her negativity and was afraid to get in the chair, normally he is very good about haircuts. My third and final attempt to go to Little Snips I made an appointment and showed up on time only to discover a closed sign on the door. The sign said «will return at 1», my appointment was for 12:30. Luckily instead of just waiting I decided to call and the message on the answering machine said they decided to close for the day due to weather. Thanks a lot for calling and letting me know!!! I had no problem loading up my two kids and making it there on time, so I really don’t understand why they closed. It is however, in my opinion, fine to close your store… but it is absolutely not ok to not let your clients with appointments know about it! Terrible customer service at this place! I won’t be back.

Even with the fancy airplane chair, this place lacked the friendliness that a children’s barber shop should have. I won’t be returning.
