Went out with Chuck today with three friends. From the moment we arrived, it felt as though Chuck was a life long friend. I cannot stress to you how genuine and friendly Chuck is. We boarded his boat, which was extremely roomy and comfortable. Almost immediately after setting our lines, we had a double hook up. After two hours on the water, everyone had limits of nice Macs. Chuck was very laid back and let us do the fishing. We fished light tackle off of down riggers, which made the fight enjoyable. Chuck is extremely knowledgable, had great stories and gave us excellent tips regarding the fishery, lake and Tahoe area. We will be going again soon and I highly recommend his service to anyone that wants to take a truly enjoyable fishing trip! Thank you Chuck!

Our family recently went on vacation in Lake Tahoe, so I contacted Chuck to see about his charter fishing services. I was grateful that he personally answered my first call and we didn’t have to play phone tag. It was so easy to work with him and he was pleasant and professional on the phone, and exuded a warmth and confidence that we would be in good hands. On the day of the trip, he was on time and guided us to his boat and equipped us all with life vests and we were on our way. It was clear that he knew the lake like the back of his hand and we all felt like we were being guided by a true professional! He quickly got us to a great spot and we dropped our lines and immediately got bites, one after the other. My boys were ecstatic and now think that every time you put your line in, that a fish will bite. That is how quick and easy it was. I almost felt bad, as other boats were watching us in binoculars and coming over to share some of our good fortune. Before you knew it, 8 boats were around us. We quickly caught our limit and Chuck navigated us to a quieter spot on the lake and showed the boys the anatomy of the fish and taught them how to clean them. He bagged up the more than 30 pounds of Mackinaw we caught and shared a few stories about Lake Tahoe that gave the trip some local flavor. It was a beautiful boat ride, as we watched the sun rise and we got to catch lots of fish and have a lot of fun as a family — highly recommend Chuck’s Fishing Charter!
