The atmosphere was very quaint — much like several of the small town places in Sicily and Italy. This is not a high class restaurant… if you’re looking for a fine dining experience this is not the place. Much of the business is take out. But if you eat in you feel like you’re at a relative’s house. You can also set up dinners for several folks. You can order all of the food ahead of time and be served family style. It’s byob so bring your favorite wine. Some of my favorites dishes are ricotta balls, stuffed shells and orachetta with broccoli.

Was excited when the Mrs told me of the new Italian restaurant that opened in the town of Penns Grove. We usually go to Di Paolo’s Italian Ristorante or get monster cheese steaks at Roman Pantry. I’ve been in thousands of «grandma’s recipes» restaurants. Walked in to the aroma of a over used deep fryer. Plastic picnic chairs. Tables with no salt and pepper(like their food), and Parmesan marked jars with masking tape labels w/Parmesan written in marker. What do they think is in there ?? Dandruff?. Lol. Supposedly homemade fresh pasta, homemade meatballs, homemade ricotta cheese balls, and chicken parm was what we ordered. I am chef/owner of Italian deli’s in Princeton, and fine dining bistros in Phoenix AZ and Phila. No taste, no love, no garnish, no nothing. I feel bad for saying this but if your gonna have a cute, small menu, neighborhood place, in a small town you MUST make your food pop! When u cut the meatball in half you wanna see, chunks of garlic and basil. If you order chicken parm it shouldn’t be mushy and topped with low grade«Kraft«shredded cheese. Sorry and wish you luck !
