We were visiting Caro for a couple months and had our breakfast here each Saturday AM(and due to the huge size of the servings, our Sunday breakfast was the left-overs from Saturday!!!) The first time we visited this little diner on the main street of Caro, it was obvious were were NOT locals — everyone turned and looked at us! This is the place were all the locals go. There were families with young children, seniors, groups of men(old-timers), fire fighters, etc — The staff was very pleasant and we loved having Jo-Jo each time. After our first time there, she remembered what we ordered! She was pleasant and had a can-do attitude(as my husband had a special request re: his oatmeal order). Their prices were very reasonable — and as shared above, portion size very large. We typically ordered the veggie omelette — which came with a choice of potatoes and toast. They have pancakes, all sorts of meat choices(bacon, link and patty sausage, ham) — Regarding the question below — about«good for groups.» Depends on the side of the group — I think 6 would probably be about as large a group as they can handle — maybe more if they have a trick up their sleeves that we didn’t know about! There are fun signs along the walls — bringing humor to our visit.
