Our family goes to this park for one reason… Disc Golf! The original design was slightly dangerous since the baskets and tees were near the fairground buildings. You could easily lose a disc on a roof, although we never did. We went there last week and we noticed right away that the layout had been changed. Many of the baskets are now in the middle of nowhere so no one has an excuse for losing a disc on the roof. It doesn’t mean that it’s impossible. Basket 1, 2, 3, and 9 are the same. Everything else has been changed. I’m not impressed with baskets 4 and 6, but I love new baskets 7 and 8 because they test your driving distance. The tees are grass with white posts labeling the basket number. We got a little confused by the new configuration on baskets 4 – 6, but the baskets are numbered as well. If you have kids, just send them to find where the next basket is. ha! My wife and I like this course because it’s easy to push a stroller there. This by far not my favorite course, but I will definitely go here again simply because of convenience. Caution: Park Drive goes through the middle of the course. If you have kids, make sure they stay out of the road and watch for cars! Caution 2: This park is next door to the sugar plant. Check the wind direction first…
