US Post Office

I have lived all over the United States and have gone to many different «types» of post offices, i.e. small, large, rural, city, etc. This is by the far the WORST post office I have ever been to!
When my family moved to Caro, I had a package I was waiting on. We lived in the «county» so we obviously had a rural mail carrier. On the day the package was supposed to arrive, it was nowhere to be found. I checked online to see if I wrote the delivery date down wrong and it stated the package had been DELIVERED! I went to the post office to inquire if my package had just gotten misplaced– I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Luckily for me, my «mail carrier» had just returned. They found my package in the trunk of the car– OPENED! There were also things missing from my package which were found in the glove box. The «manager» of the post office tried to tell me it was «all an honest mistake.» I argued that if I hadn’t inquired about it, this «mail carrier» would have STOLEN MY MAIL and not thought twice about it!
Fast forward about eight months. I was waiting on a package from my family back home. I was vacuuming and didn’t hear the mail carrier. Apparently, with this particular mail carrier, when they honked their horn, it means you have to come outside and pick up your package. When I didn’t, they proceeded to bring my package to my front door, dump it in the sown and leave me a note saying how «rude,» «selfish» and «lazy» I was being for not coming out to their car. Even if I would have heard the horn, I wasn’t going to go out there. This was part of their job and how am I supposed to know it was them?!
With that said, this post office has neither customer service skills nor respect for the positions they hold. I am so glad to be out of there and not having to deal with them anymore!
