Obviously the best thing about Aldi is their prices. Their selections are always growing and their staff is always super friendly. They are happy to get more stock out of the back room for you if they are out of something and they are also helpful in helping you find something in the store. During check out they are friendly and talkative. The store is usually busy and super cold inside during the winter months. We visit here twice per month and have never left dissatisfied.

This is quite unlike any grocery store I’ve ever been to. It is SO small yet packs a ton of variety into its limited space of, say, 3,00 square feet, max. The layout takes some getting used to but you’ll get familiar with the flow in time. You’ll want to remember that the Choceur chocolates are on the right almost as soon as you enter the store … these goodies are really delicious(dark chocolate-covered marzipan, dear jeebus) and seem to be exclusive to Aldi. One of the first things you’ll notice is how Aldi’s generic brands mimic the packaging of well-known brand names very well. I shop here first to cross off certain items on my list that I’m not too picky about and then head to Meijer or Jewel; for instance, I love the dirt-cheap and good-quality seasonings like paprika and cumin at Aldi but I will NOT buy domestic pasta or any other mayonnaise than Hellmann’s. New find that I love: frozen individual pretzel dinner rolls, six-roll bag for $ 2.50. Hell. Yes. CASHORDEBITONLY.

I love Aldi and their prices. My favorite things to buy here are spices, dried fruit, brownie mix, ice cream bars, and pasta sauce.

Great prices! Aldi is Aldi, cheap items, and there are healthy items, you just have to avoid the sodium laded items. Just learn how to read labels. There is one cashier who thinks it is a race every time, she is kind of a b(*&($, so be careful if you’re in her line(ESPECIALLYIFYOUDON’T HAVE A CART!). The people who shop here, many foreign, are just so rude. Cutting in line, not acknowledging you when you need to get through, or do them a favor. It isn’t limited to foreign languages, all genders, races, and creeds who shop here can be rude.

Most items are good or the same as name brand items My daughter actually prefers their brownies over name brand Produce does not hold up well once home use them or they will be in the trash Some items I purchase regularly; bacon salt brownie and cake mixes milk cheese groundbeef and other meats like pork chops eggs bathroom tissue things are decent and cheap just bring your own bags or I bring a laundry basket in my trunk and i just load it at the car — easy to take in the house when i get home.

This is owned by the same company as Trader Joe’s, but a far cry from their great customer service. Aldis are small markets with a limited selection, mostly their own brands. They don’t carry everything and getting a name brand item is a fluke, not a regular thing, but you can’t beat the prices. Milk is generally $ 2.75 or less, sometimes on sale for $ 1.99 a gallon and their hot dog and hamburger buns are 59 cents. Salad in a bag is $ 1.60 and their bread is also really cheap. Pringles potato chips are always 89 cents. They also have lots of frozen items, I’ve seen the same shrimp as at Trader Joe’s! This location is new, open less than one year and very clean. You need a quarter for the shopping cart. You have to return it to get your quarter back. You also have to pay for your own grocery bags or bring your own. The lines here vary on the day and the time. NEVER go on a Friday! Some people have to do all their shopping here and it can get VERY crowded(it’s payday for a lot of people). The checker puts the groceries back in the cart and then you have to bag them yourselves. They only take cash or debit cards, so don’t plan to use the credit card. So if you are pinching pennies or planning a big barbeque, get a lot of stuff from here without paying lots!
