ForwardFit is more than a gym — it’s a community of people who love a good sweat session and encourage one another. Short and sweet classes(1 hour each) are led by trainers that keeps you moving and burning some serious calories. The Metabolic Circuit class totally kicked my butt the first time I went. The class is set up so you do 30-seconds of an exercise, 20-second recovery through 10 exercises. That’s one round. Bill, the owner and one of the trainers, will push you through 3 rounds and then a finisher, which is sure to wear you out.(Battle rope for 3 minutes, anyone?) The boxing classes are SOGOOD. I should note that these classes are boxing fitness classes — this is not a boxing class were you’ll end up fighting someone. Most work is done on punching bags, but there’s also plenty of other exercises mixed in. Boxing has been my favorite class so far because it’s something I had never tried. Discovering it has been a fun experience that doesn’t end up feeling like dragging myself to a gym for a class. I can’t say too much about the yoga classes because I’ve only been to one, but it was alright. I’m much more interested in the circuit and boxing classes. The thing that really makes this gym special is the people. Since it’s class based, you see the same people almost every time you go. They are a welcoming group and very encouraging. I was blown away that the group cheered me on as I finished my finisher in my first circuit class. Bill has made an awesome gym and an even better atmosphere and community to be a part of.

This place is amazing! Not a typical gym experience. A variety of challenging classes are offered, but everyone encourages you and congratulates you on a good job. Bill is obviously very knowledgeable on nutrition and fitness and educates his members without sounding judgmental or preachy. His energy and sense of humor makes keeps everything very fun also. He is always available to make sure you are doing a move correctly and point out a way to improve form. I spent years hating the gym and not properly working out on my own. After four months of regularly attending classes, I’ve noticed huge strides in my strength and endurance. Everyone pushes themselves and you will be driven to do the same!

I have been working out with Forward Fit for 4 ½ years now, and I have seen results thanks to Bill. Bill is one of the best trainers you will find out there. He will keep you motivated and keep you going even when you think you can not do any more. This is not your typical gym atmosphere this is a great place to come and work out at and cheer each other on for the great job we have done. There are many classes to choose from and everyone encourages each other to do better and we help each other out to finish a challenge class. If anyone of you are looking for a different way of working out and to get the results that you are looking for then Forward Fit is the place for you, come try it out I know you will love it as much as we all do!!!
