Starbucks

We have gotten coffee here many times. It is par for the course as a Starbucks. The reason I am leaving this review is due to a terrible experience with the management. I went through the drive thru and left without my credit card. I called the store and the manager answered. I explained that I thought I had driven off without the card and she said wait a second while she checks on it. I waited quite literally one second and she says ‘we don’t have it’. I proceed to really thoroughly search my car (it is a new car so it’s not like it’s messy) and it did not turn up. At this point I drive to the store and ask in person. An employee tries to help me and was nice about it, but ends up going and asking the manager. She doesn’t bother to come out of her office, but I overhear her yelling ‘Yeah, he already called and we don’t have it’ in a very rude tone. Now, I’m not accusing anyone of stealing my card but I am just really upset with how rude this manager was. She couldn’t be bothered to look in to it or even talk to me in person. So anyway, I cancelled the card and think I will find a new place to get coffee.

I love this location! Seriously, the nicest people on Earth~ I’ve never had a bad experience here. Thank you guys & gals for always being professional and making my day.

This Starbucks is wonderful! It is right on my way to work, and I usually stop once or twice a week. Even when there is a backed up drive thru line, they are quick and friendly. I almost always use the drive thru, but there is a semi-​private parking lot (shared with a handful of other businesses).

They make you feel like they are to busy to treat you nice. It’s not like the coffee isn’t good or the staff isn’t cordial but the don’t act like you are even there.

This location is the worst Starbucks ever! $ 5 worth of a drink and it was ²⁄₃ full! The lady got all of our drinks wrong and was not friendly when we asked her to fix them. If we’re paying that much for a cup of coffee, we expect it to be worth it! I love Starbucks but I will never pay this location a visit ever again. Not worth it

This is the friendliest starbucks around, I go out of my way just to be served by them.

It’s your average Starbucks located in the suburbs. They have plenty of free parking, all your Starbucks foods and a drive thru for your convenience. Plenty of tables depending on what time of day it is and if the kiddos are out from school. When I lived in the neighboring city, I would visit this location a lot to study. Now thank goodness they actually have free internet.
There is also outside seating as well. They deserve four stars because they are usually pretty quick and efficient with preparing your drinks and food.

This Starbucks is good but I have been there 3 times and the Wi-​Fi is down. They should fix this.
The people that work there are nice.

The baristas always make my order accurately and are the utmost courteous and professional at both drive-​thru and walk-​in –even at ungodly early hours of the morning when I’m sure they are secretly cursing everything in sight.

Be prepared to spend about 20 minutes in the drive thru, you’re guaranteed to be late to work!!!

Good service here in Carol Stream at all Starbucks that Ive been to. I uaually order iced espressos and they are delicious from these locations. Noce employees. Part of me would like to be employed at Starbucks. I love their blueberry, yogurt muffin. I also enjoy the turkey and stuffing panini that they release during the holiday season. Sometimes I order the ham and Swiss on a croissant and that is delicious too. I will likely return to Starbucks at least three to 10 times a week

I was at this place recently and had another 5 star experience. The coffee was excellent but one thing was better than the coffee and that was the excellent service provided by Steve, Isabel and Callie. The service provided by them was simply awesome and they made me feel like a welcomed guess. This is reason alone for me to come back to this Starbucks.

We stop by at the Starbucks drive-​through it’s right in the corner of North Avenue. our drinks were just right nice and hot. We got a soy chai latte double the chai because I like mine spicy and an Americano drinks. The cashier was pretty quick and he was friendly too. The one downfall of getting your drink through drive-​through at this location is that they didn’t give us those little green drink stoppers. I do like those because there are times when our drink would spill over while driving in the car especially if were not drinking it right away. overall it is a pretty good experience and I will come back here again I’m around the area.

The music is extremely loud. I’ve asked the staff to lower the volume a couple of times — once they told me they couldn’t do it, the other they lowered it for a little while then turned it back up again. It’s the only one near my home, but I can’t go there to study because of the noise.

Great bakery items. Mocha frappucciono is never a bad drink on a hot summer day. Great outdoor seating area as well.

Your averAge Starbucks– nothing special. Tried the new caffe espresso frap and it was nothing special. Tasted like a regular coffee frap and was a bit icy. I hate when you can taste/​feel the pieces of ice in an icey blended drink. Tasty bakery items, can’t go wrong here. This location has lovely outdoor seating. Nice little pick me up place!

I agree with SCOTTY T on this one, this is probably the most unfriendliest Starbucks I have ever been to. I have been going to Starbucks for 8 years now, and this Starbucks is the moodiest, unpleasant, and dullest establishment known to man. The women employees are very cute and attractive but very stuck up, snotty, and mean. Not a location you want to enter at anytime, the one in Roselle very cute and friendly girls, Lake Street, and so one. But for some odd reason this location has the black cloud hanging over it !! Are we going to see a woman on a broomstick Flying in the sky over this location soon? Customer Service is KEY to any franchise. There are 1000 Starbucks locations, this one you should avoid!

There’s nothing really wrong with this Starbucks. It’s certainly clean and the drinks are fine. The patio is a joke since a major busy intersection is up in your face. But the interior has a lot of tables and a few comfy chairs.
I don’t know. The staff here has always seemed «off» somehow. Not slow or bad baristas or anything. Just not happy. Maybe a little oppressed. I have always felt they lacked the jovial cheesiness of other Starbucks workers and heard a manager get angry once, so I just have a suspicion that the management here Isn’t great to staff and it affects the atmosphere.
But it’s really not bad! I’ve been to much worse locations. This just isnt my favorite Starbucks in the area.

Not my favorite cup o joe. But in the area, its a hard to find drive-​thru for a high end cup.

I was bummed that I was working New Years Day, so I stopped here for a little pick me up on the way in to work. Everyone was very friendly and happy. I got my drink and was on my way.
I bought one of those mugs in December that gives you free refills all through the month of January. They weren’t sure how to ring it up. Instead of being aggravated, I felt kind of bad for them.
