Any business worth its weight in gold stands behind its products and services. However, this business does not. I had my exhaust coated here and the coating was absolutely terrible. First, when I had the pipes done, I clearly marked off where the pipes fix together as to not have that part ceramic coated. This would make for ease in assembling and installing the pipes back on the motorcycle. Well, upon picking the pipes up, it was immediately discovered my directions weren’t followed. Ok, I was told they would correct the mistake. The only way to correct this would be to sand blast the pipes once again so they could be coated again. The parts of the pipe that were to be left uncoated were fixed, the other parts clearly weren’t re-​ceramic coated. Instead, I believe they were just spray painted and baked. I say this because all the color wore right off. To better understand this, most of the pipes are covered by the motorcycle fairing and the motorcycle is not ridden in the rain. Even if it were, ceramic coating does not wash off. After calling and asking about warranting the work I was told Vanilla Gorilla does not warranty their work because of the harsh «elements» of Chicago and the midwest. Well, I’m not exactly riding the motorcycle in the winter. In any can, I was also told no one warranties their ceramic coating. I informed them JetHot does and I was told «they only warranty for a year». No, they warranty for life, check out their website. I won’t tell anyone not to use this place, but I will tell you if you do, expect to have the work done over.
