Love this place! The service was amazing, food was delicious, and it is a place of integrity and authenticity– you know that their food, quality and warmth of service are all very important to them. A few Unilocal reviews by people who weren’t thrilled, well all I can say is go back to Cheesecake Factory and get the crappy food and décor you want, because thankfully Clementine isn’t changing! My halibut was super delicious with some nice light zucchini, and the bf’s filet was cooked perfectly. And the pie… Yum. The décor is nostalgic and awesome. This place is all heart and quality. Thanks Patti!

I was just driving through town and decided to start this little gem — hands down might be the BEST fried chicken I’ve ever had. They give you TONS of food, and everything was absolutely spectacular. Mushroom soup was out of this world, as was the baked potato and side veggies. Your meal also comes with homemade pie, chocolate fudge was delicious. It’s set up to look like a little old-timey country house, and the service is spectacular. Highly recommend.

Food quality was ok but country/home style ambiance was really nice. Terrific service and yummy pie! Worth it.

Horrible service!!! No place to check in. No one pays any attention. We stood there for 10 minutes before we had to find a waiter to see if we could even get a table. When we asked they said they would check. Another 10 minutes later we finally decided to leave. Complete waste of time.

I don’t know how everyone raves about this place. We had horrible service and the food is mediocre at best. We had a steak and fried chicken and we should have gone to Carl’s Jr across the street. Avoid this place if you care how food tastes.

Service was good enough but the décor and especially the food are way below par. Out of all our parties meals, several of them were not thrilled. Food is below average. There were many seniors eating when we were here and the food seems more suited for a nursing home.

I had the New York Steak. It was really good. We had prime rib, liver and tips as well which were just good. Soup was ok. Not as good or as reasonable as the reviews Sai but the waitress was quite sweet.

Awesome place! Sure it’s older inside but it’s part of the charm. Loved the food. Best pie I’ve had in a long time. Who else gives you a generous pour? Any negative reviews about the place are welcome news. More room for me and my friends when we come back!

Great food and pie. Love the fried chicken. Have been going there for years. Home made pies that I take home for the next day. I do not like noisy restaurants and it is quiet and you can actually talk in a normal voice.

I have to say ABSOLUTELY perfect! Wonderful food and yes a bit more than I’m used to paying, but it was our anniversary… And worth every penny!!! I love the homey comfy ambiance. I came in my scrubs(cuz I’m a nurse…) and didn’t have to feel bad about not getting dressed up. After working 12 hours, looking amazing just isn’t high on my list of priorities, ya know… I enjoyed dinner here and hope to come back soon. Oh, and the pie is BOMB… and free with dinner.

You cannot make this place up– every meal comes with a fresh baked loaf of bread-soup-salad-a side and your entrée of course. The finale s choice of 14 homemade pies…

Amazing service and amazing food! Look beyond the décor as the food is why they come.

Clementine’s is a throw back to American restaurants of the past, maybe the 50’s and 60’s. The meal is huge, including relish tray, both soup and salad, bread, the entrée, and pie. The service is friendly for sure and quite attentive. The only bad news is that the food itself is unremarkable. It’s fine, but nothing at all special. For $ 30+ per person, I think you should come away saying that you had something special. Sadly, we did not. On the other hand, we took home enough leftovers for an entire second meal the next night.

This place is awesome. At first I was surprised at the prices, but with the amount of food presented it is actually a bargain. You could easily split the dinner with a guest and you would both leave full. Price includes fresh baked bread, soup and salad. The main dish, followed by your choice of fresh baked pie.

So much food for such an affordable price! Bring a cooler for your leftovers! Yes, you could just order the smaller size but for the tiny price difference, it makes more sense to go all out! Get the regular size fried chicken meal, and be sure to save room for the slice of amazing pie that comes with each dinner(many flavors to choose from each night). The place has been there forever(as well as the amazing owner), and has earned it’s place as a neighborhood establishment. It’s not fancy, it’s not glitzy, but it’s darn good fried chicken at an incredible price. The service can’t be beat either.

My review will mirror others pertaining to the excellent service and a very complete and tasty meal. Relish plate piled high, excellent piping hot soups… split pea and clam chowder were our selections. My husband thought his prime to be a generous portion, but just okay. He enjoyed my fried chicken more. Décor is dated, but honestly, it adds to the overall charm and friendliness of the restaurant.

Awesome food!!! We are visiting the area from England and staying in the hotel opposite. We looked this place up on Unilocal and saw it had great reviews so thought we would check it out. Basically you get a 5 course meal for about € 21!!! The food is so delicious and there is plenty of it. The service is amazing. It has a great homely feel inside the restaurant. We would be returning again tomorrow night if it wasn’t a Monday(they are closed on a Monday!!!).

The service was great, and the portions were even better! The split pea soup was very impressive and the home made bread was delicious! Couldn’t stop eating it. The filet mignon was ok, there was no marinade, rub or salt and pepper. It just tasted like meat. I was hoping for $ 31 that the steak would have more flavor. Now the pie is incredible!!! I highly recommend the rhubarb pie, one of the best I’ve had. Only other complaint is that there is no AC or fans so it was extremely hot! Couldn’t enjoy the food as much when your sweating so much

I was told to order the fried chicken. I did. It was huge. It was as if a chicken on steroids was exposed to uranium and grew up to be Gigantor. We were a party of 13. I have to give our waitress credit for being completely organized and not screwing up anyone’s order. Plus the food was served at the table simultaneously so we didn’t have to wait for some straggler to get their order. She’s obviously worked there a long time and knows how to be a great waitress. The clientele consists of older folks. Geeeeeeeze, I’m probably in that category these days, but I’d like to pretend that I’m not. The building itself is a little dated and filled with some stuff that would be better left at grandma’s house. There was even a decorative Christmas tree next to us. In May. The people who brought us here are regulars and love the place. I think it’s a case of this is the best place here in town kinda thing. It’s not bad and I’m not knocking it. It’s a local’s hangout in «Carp» so I’m glad they have something to enjoy.
