This family run dojang is a great match for my 7 year old. Master Ko values fun in addition to discipline, focus, self-​respect, confidence and dedication. He is incredibly supportive with all of his students. All of his students adore and respect him.

Chapel Hill, NC
Master Ko has an amazing do-​jang set up in Carrboro. He has a great rapport with the kids, and teaches them self-​respect, teamwork, and hard work. Unlike many martial arts places, KOTOX puts respect and cooperation above competition. I like how he encourages each student to improve and work hard, and he focuses on the positive. He is especially good at working with young children.
My favorite thing about KOTOX, however, is the Family classes. My kids and I can all work out together, and there are usually two to four families in class. The result is some great quality time with my kids, and I get a great workout at the same time.
I highly recommend it!
