ONLY GO HERE IF YOU WANT CHICKEN. The fried chicken was fantastic. While you are at it, I’d just do carry out. At first it seemed to have small town charm of old diner but was smokey (they allow smoking), a little sticky, and needs a good mopping. Once again only go for chicken, move along if you want anything else.

Excellent local restaurant. Was in town for work and found a gem. Had fried cod and it was excellent, served with fries, cole slaw, hush puppies and drink for under ten dollars. Large portions and cooked fresh. Two others in my party had fried chicken and both said it was fantastic. Looked like locals only, but staff was friendly and very helpful to us. Must try if in this area.

Food is good but a bit pricey. Milkshakes are great! Only problem with Cooper’s is that they allow smoking and the dining room is one open space. Several times we have went in to eat and someone would sit down at the booth next to us and start smoking. No specific smoking area so you never know if someone next to you will light up while you are trying to eat. I suggest getting your order to go.

Less than impressed. Food was very generic. Cole slaw tasted a few days old. We all had mix matched plates. They do serve cheap breakfast all day which is a plus I guess.
