*Peanut butter cookie dough smash* It’s like the ice cream fairy finally made my dream come true! I am only writing this review to tell you how good this new flavor is. I add hot fudge to mine and it already includes chocolate pieces and peanut butter sauce!
On this visit, service was prompt though the restaurant wasn’t as clean. It’s just kind of dark and not really buzzing but food and service were on point. I definitely saw a difference in customer service and overall friendliness.

Stopped by here Sunday afternoon for a blizzard. The restaurant was clean. Blayke was friendly as was another employee that helped us. I recommend the Salted Caramel Truffle Blizzard — amazing!
I would return and recommend this location to others.

I went 04−10−15 because I wanted DQ ice cream. I have been going to this location for over 15 yrs. Even before they remodeled. I ordered a medium sundae and what I received looked very small. I asked the lady if this was the medium and was told yes. Seems like the prices are getting higher and servings are getting smaller… a lot smaller

I just came here once thru the drive thru to have their free cone! They were handling the crowd very well, I barely had to wait… They basically had ice cream cones ready for everyone!

The restaurant was COLD beyond belief. Luckily I got a seat in the sun. I got the #1, the burger was hot, fries were hot (I got them without salt so they should have been), the seats were filthy. Everything was just a notch below Wataburger, and cost more, so I will keep going to Wataburger.

It’s your basic Dq. It is nicely renovated inside. Service was slightly slow but nice. I ordered their pumpkin shake… worth the wait! Last time I was here I tried their orange Julius but it was watered down… so went home and made my own! They redeemed themselves with the pumpkin shake. If in area and craving a blizzard, I’m sure I’d return.

It looks like it has been recently remodeled. We went there for dinner on Monday night and it was pretty good. I hadn’t eaten in one for years although I hit it up for a Blizzard and cone with my daughter, The staff is very friendly and really goes out of the way to be extra nice.

So for some reason there’s only 1 DQ in Dallas proper… and it doesn’t have ice cream cakes. Called this location and asked if they did and not only did the guy confirm, but he took the time to walk around to tell me what they had available. When we got there it was very clean and obviously well managed.

I’m giving this Dairy Queen 4 stars simply because they actually have ice cream cakes. It is the only one in Dallas proper that has ice cream cakes. I love those things…
Anyway, this is a pretty typical DQ, which means sometimes they’re awesome and others not so much.
Can anyone tell me why the burgers are so vastly different in Texas than anywhere else? I miss my double cheeseburger with just ketchup, mustard, and pickle. The bun and beef patties are different, too. WHY?!
The manager here is really nice. We commented how we drove from downtown just to get a cake — he told us next time to call ahead, make any special request we want, and they’ll throw it in their deep freeze to ensure it makes it home without melting at all! «45 minutes of travel time» he said!
However, their drive through is so bizarre, there is no way I could ever give this place 5 stars.

Been my lunch spot for over 15 years. Original owner sold out about three years ago. Food, as in meat, was really good for about 6 months. Now I would not feed any meat from here to my dog. Get an Ice Cream Cone.

Normally, everything I get from Dairy Queen is great! However, on two separate trips to this DQ in Farmers Branch to get my favorite — Chocolate Extreme Blizzard — I’ve been disappointed. This menu item has always been just what it implies — loads of chocolate — to an extreme and it’s wonderful. However, twice in the past month or so, I’ve had to ask them to remake this menu item. When they hand it to me, instead of seeing chocolate mixed with the ice cream to a very nice brown color, I’m looking at white ice cream with some chocolate pieces in the mix. These simply don’t look (or taste) like what Chocolate Extreme Blizzards have been for the past 8 years… not AT ALL. I found another DQ out of state that did the same thing and I asked for a re-​make. At least they don’t complain about re-​making them but what a waste of time, energy, and ingredients! What’s up with the fast food restaurants getting stingy with the chocolate lately?

More expensive than your average fast food lunch? Yes. May take a little more time than your average drive-​thru? Yes. WAY better food that’s actually delicious and filling? ALSO YES!
There’s really nothing special about this dairy queen over any other, but with so few good lunch time options around here I am so so grateful for this one, because as a pregnant lady when I want my steak fingers, I want them dammit!

A Jr burger combo is $ 8? Really? Okay, no problem, I’ll have the burger with cheese, all the toppings, and mayo.
Why did they give me a sad excuse for a burger with a blob of mayo and absolutely no toppings? & the burger was just a tad bigger than a Reese’s Peanut Butter cup at that. For $ 8. This place was dead; there was no crowd so consequently there is no excuse for getting such a simple order so wrong.
Nowwwwwww I remember why I don’t frequent Dairy Queen.

I’ve always love dairy queens from the first time they flipped the cup upside down to show me how their ice cream is frozen to the core, however, most recently my visits have been for their arctic cherry rushes. These are basically cherry slushies that taste kind of like the slush puppies from back in the day and I just love them since its smooth and refreshing and chilling. The workers here are mostly young, yet they are very professional and polite for the most part and this location is also has a very clean and appealing appearance. Thanks for the great ice cream and icee deal!!! :D

I never thought I’d be writing a review on Dairy Queen — but I gotta tell you that my last visit really deserves a great review. I was talked into going with a friend from work and I’m glad i was talked into it. I had tater tots and a grilled chicken sandwhich and a blizzard. i also had a bite of my friends chicken steak basket with gravy and texas toast. It was ALL GREAT!!! To my understanding, this location had been under renovation for a few months. I thought it was to do a much needed facelift — but the real story is that Dairy Queen Corporate bought out the previous franchise owners. Diary Queen is no longer renewing their franchises and is taking full ownership of the remaining locations. They are revamping the establishments, menu, staff, service and taste! This could easily turn into one of my favorite fast food places… glad to see they are on the up swing again!

And the Reese’s Blizzards are quite delicious. The drive-​thru is a little annoying and requires a full lap around the building (intercom on one side, window on the other) but who cares?!
