If you play disc golf or you are interested in disc golf, this is your place to get what you need. *disclaimer* I am a very passionate disc golfer and promoter of the sport. I do know the members of Dynamic Discs and their passion since we all love our sport. I am from Austin and made it a journey to come here while in town. I should hope that my detailed review doesn’t sway you away from it’s honesty. I could rave about the great things Dynamic Discs(DD) is doing for the great sport of disc golf, but I won’t since this review is not an article and over time I will let you learn that on your own. The DD store is a great stop to literally get everything you need to play. Discs, bags, shirts, shoes, koozies, and bumper stickers… you could walk in the average person, get what you need in the store, and walk out looking like a true Pro while never have thrown your first disc. The DD staff are their sport and live their sport. If you have any questions about what products to choose(shirt, bag, disc, etc.), they will ask you questions for insight, and direct you to what you should need. If you have any questions about discs and items that are not from DD brand, then they will be honest and tell you about them as well. They are just that good. Their passion is disc golf, but they are more passionate about getting you to go out and play. If you are interested in disc golf or know someone who is, this is the place to come. Bring your kids, throw some discs, buy some gear, or heck… make someones day special and buy them ANYTHING from the Dynamic Discs store(gifts from DD are always great). Get out and experience the passionate fun of disc golf like everyone else, see what you have been missing, and get what you have been missing by shopping at Dynamic Discs.

Have you ever heard of Disc Golf? Neither had I before my friend here in Texas introduced it to me. It’s similar to Golf except you fly frisbee type discs into metal baskets called DISCatchers. This review will be like the blind leading the blind, but I’m going to attempt to explain this sport. It began back in the 1960’s but became more formalized with the installation of the first permanent course in 1975(Pasadena, CA). The sport has really grown over the last three decades and now there are over 3000 Disc Golf Courses throughout the United States(most are free). There are even World Championship circuits where players compete for money and prestige. I met Eric McCabe(the 2010 Champion) while in the store today as he was just leaving to catch a flight to the Championship Games in Charlotte, NC. If you are a pro, serious competitor or just looking to have a little backyard family fun… Dynamic Disc has what you need to get started. It’s a clean and fun sport ANYONE can get into and would be a blast for outdoor gatherings! There are driver discs for different ranges from maximum distance to midrange as well as discs for the putt and approach. Stability ratings establish flight control over long distances and charts as well as staff can guide you those who are more competitive. We plan to purchase a Catcher and a few discs to ship back to Georgia. Who knows, my kids might be the Tiger Woods of this sport someday as it is surely catching on and becoming widely popular.
