Goodwill Store

Goodwill is a great store, but I have never experienced such horrible customer service. I went in to make a very large donation and was treated like I was some kind of moron. Melinda needs to be fired, she should not be working in customer service. I was appalled at how she treated me.

Love this location I always find goodies. They usually have sample sale Fossil purses and new target clothes. You can also find home décor from target as well for dirt cheap. I love this location but kind of small. I did find a nice fur vest for $ 5.00!

I’d like to give this place 3.5 stars, but since I did find something pretty awesome here, I rounded up. My husband was quite please with the large selection of men’s items, and he had a few good finds there. I found a few things to pick up in the women’s section, too. They had a lot of shorts, pants, jeans, and skirts. I didn’t check out the tops. The dress selection is very meh. (unless you’re looking for something awful) ;) The clothing is sorted by color, not size, and that makes things a bit harder to find. The prices are great in my opinion. They have 4 rooms to try things on, which is a huge plus for me. (I HATE when thrift stores don’t have dressing rooms)
I found an Italian leather bag here for $ 1.99. It was nothing to look at when I picked it up, but it looked promising. I spent an hour cleaning it up, and it’s gorgeous! Well worth the money and time. If I never find anything in this store again, that’s worth it!
At any rate I would go back. It’s definitely decent.

This store is a hot mess so disorganized. All I got to say is when you shop here, you have your work cut out for you. I am not discouraging you because you might find exactly what you are looking for but you will probably have to dig for it. If you don’t find what you are looking for at this location, be sure to visit the Midway location that is über organized and clean.

I love this store. The problem is the employees. I was getting ready to check out when I noticed a bin of new donations from Target. I began looking in the bin and grabbed a Chi iron priced $ 10 when the cashier told me I wasnt allowed to, she then had another employee take the bin to the back. I left and returned within the hour. The cashier stated (with an attitude) she wont be putting out the new items til the morn. REALLY??? The sh## isnt yours. Whats the attitude all about? Clearly they are stashing all the new stuff for themselves.

This place is a little past Addison. It is always muggy and too hot to spend too much time in. I always want to give this place a shot but every time I walk in, I walk back out.

Where can you get cheap & potentially flammable clothing for cheap? Goodwill, of course! So since the theme of our latest Elite event is «Ugly Holiday Sweater Party», I knew this place was on my list of stores to check out. Sure enough, it delivered in hideous fashion.
Alright, so the store isn’t aesthetically pleasing, but its functional. Shoes at the front, women’s clothing to the right, men’s to the left, housewares & books in the back. Nice & easy. I just needed a terribly sweater, so I poured thru the racks & found quite a few options, surprisingly enough. I wasn’t the only one shopping for holiday sweaters, so I traded a few times with another girl until we finally had the ones we wanted. Whew, what a relief!
I even found a cheap trinket for the White Elephant gift exchange, too. My grand total was less than $ 9 & the checker had me out in no time. I didn’t really look for much else, though I was surprised to see some clothing in decent condition for super cheap. Good to know, I suppose.
Be prepared folks — this sweater is terrible :)
