On 07/21 HomePro monitoring service stopped. On 07/22 I reported issue and was informed supplier caused outage and working to resolve.
Rang 09/06 to ask for prorated refund as per contract. Told they would have to charge me circa $95 to come out and repair. I said for what, your issue, and you take my money?
Then put through to customer loyalty (that's a joke, I doubt they could spell loyalty!) Cedric or Kedric then told me that there was no record of the call. I told him I have it on my phone.
He also told me he could offer a July rebate (did not mention August) and that if I signed up for the maintenance contract, it would only cost me a flat $40 to repair. I asked him to cancel the contract, his response I have offered a solution and cannot do that.
Informed him that I would be seeking attorney advice and writing to CEO.
I have been a customer for 5-years and have had multiple issues with them If anyone else is in the same boat, I am interested in trying to get a Class Action Lawsuit against them. Their business practice is not ethical.
