Love this place! I searched all over Dallas to find a place with a large selection of rocks, minerals and crystals. The selection is outstanding. The prices are reasonable and the owner is awesome. He helped also helped us crack a few geodes. Great place!

Gosh, I love this place! It’s located in the downtown Carrollton square next to a Cajun restaurant. This was my second time stolling inside and it makes me wish I had a ton of disposable income to spend!(Kinda like when I’m in Nordstrom’s.) The owner is a geologist and loves talking about his rocks & minerals and what not, but he’s not into the metaphysical aspect of their properties so don’t bother asking. I have not compared their prices to other places but he does have a very impressive collection of items for sale as well as items not for sale in his private collection showcase. It’s a great place to just buzz around and kill time looking at beautiful rocks.

Awesome place! The owner’s passion for rocks & minerals is obvious, and the selection is impressive. The worker was so helpful, knowledgeable, etc. The shop is not that large, but I spent 3 hours in it my first visit and came home with more than 50 rocks & minerals. Already looking forward to visiting again.

I finally came to this store after having it bookmarked and I’m definitely coming back. They have a wide selection of minerals and gems. If you’re a minerals collector like me then you need to check this store out. Especially because prices are insanely affordable!

I love this little store. Both times I’ve been there it’s been wonderful. It’s really for the person that is looking to expand their crystal, mineral or gem collection. Prices are reasonable too. They have a wide variety and if you ask, they will show you the hidden places that they keep some of their stuff.

Nature’s Gallery was a nice, older place. The lady behind the counter was really very nice, and tried to be as helpful as possible. The owner was out the day we came as he was at a gem/rock show. My husband and I have always been interested in rocks and minerals and recently decided to start trying to learn about healing used in conjunction with rocks and minerals. They had a small, but nice selection of jewelry, and many things behind the glass that was marked, and was visibly old with much history. I love that sort of thing. I like buying rocks, but more than that I like to learn about them as well. I’m hoping to come back when the owner is in so I can ask him questions. My favorite thing in the store was the peacock ore. It is beautiful!

So, to preface I’m kind of dork in that I find rocks really beautiful and fascinating. When I used to live in Carrollton, on either my drive home from work or on one of the many occasions I would eat at Babes, I would always see Natures Gallery(or The Rock Shop is what I would always call it in my head). I always wanted to go visit this store but something would always come up and either they would be closed or I would just forget to venture in. FINALLY, after eating at Babes one Saturday I was like«I have to go check this place out» and I’m so glad I did! Natures Gallery showcases some of the most beautiful rocks and fossils I’ve seen. In fact, several pieces found in the shop really reminded me of what I saw in the Museum of Natural Science in Houston. The owner is really friendly and very knowledgable and the pricing of the stores merchandise is really quite reasonable! One star gets deducted for presentation… if ‘Natures Gallery’ showcased the rocks/fossils/minerals better it could almost be a museum. Instead all you get is florescent lighting… bleh.

We lovingly refer to Nature’s Gallery as ‘The Rock Store’ because they specialize in pretty rocks, fine minerals, gems and fossils. Ladies, when you shop in Old Downtown Carrollton, drop your man off here. He will be fascinated for HOURS. The owner loves to show you everything and educate customers about his products. He is very passionate about rocks, and when you talk to him for awhile, you will be too! This store also has jewelry, but there is an even more intriguing Valentine’s find here. GENTLEMEN, do you want to get flowers for your girl but wish your gift would last longer than 3 – 5 days? At Nature’s Gallery you can find Texas Roses. These are beautiful rocks that are shaped like roses. A dozen of these beauties to express your love would be a romantic gift, and different from anything she’s ever seen before.
