Super friendly staff, best place for pizza in town. Very casual. A good selection of toppings for your pies.

Wow! We happened by this place when in the area and stopped by here to eat. They had a kids event going on where for $ 10 the kids can go in the back and make their own pizza and they get a chef hat. My son had a blast! They made it an experience too, not just sauce, cheese, cook. So fun! The food was also amazing! We had the caprese mozzarella and meatballs and ricotta. Smoothest ricotta I have ever had. I ate the penne Alfredo and was scraping the sauce off my bowl. My husband had the calzone and it was super good too. We will defiantly be back! Oh, and the frozen White Russian– yum! Oh again, the doughnuts are seriously AMAZING!

Date of dining 12÷31÷15 This was my second visit to Palladino’s and I am happy to say it was as good as the first. We started off with the fresh mozzarella and the meatballs. This was the second time I got the mozzarella and for good reason. It is easy to tell it is made on site. It is served with fresh basil and tomato as well as a balsamic reduction. Not exaggerating when I say it may be the best mozzarella I have ever had. The meatballs were also excellent. They were huge, had great flavor, and were very moist. We went with two small pizzas for dinner. One with sausage, peppers, ricotta, and onion. The other had chicken, ham, and hot chili oil. Both were excellent. You can tell real, fresh ingredients are being used every step of the way. Finally we got their homemade donuts. They are dough based instead of cake and are served piping hot. They are absolutely fantastic, with a really nice funnel cake quality. We have gotten these on both trips. If you’re looking for a «pizza place» that does everything well you can’t go wrong with Palladino’s.

Went to Palladino’s again tonight with a large group of people. I wanted to try the pasta so I got chicken Alfredo and it was the best Alfredo ever. All the pasta dishes were $ 10 and it was too much so I took some home. Most of the group ate the individual pizza which were exactly half price of the large pizzas so we got a variety. We also got the fried white chocolate pastry and zeppoli which is a Italian beignet. Every thing was wonderful. I will try to let the month go with going back.

Will start by saying we are considered pizza snobs by our friends and because nothing was nearby have worked over 2 years on perfecting our homemade dough and cooking methods. So to say the least we have been excited to see new higher end fresh ingredient pizza restaurants opening in West Ga. Palladino’s has the workings and potential to be right up there with some of the best locations in downtown ATL but in our opinion needs to improve on the execution to live up to its current rating. Make no mistake Leopoldo and Palladino’s are the best pizza restaurants within 40 miles and while both have strengths they still have some areas for improvement. Pros: 1) Sauce was on the mark and what you would expect with San Marzano tomatoes. 2) Ingredients were fresh and we particularly enjoyed the Calabrese Peppers. 3) Dough had a good flavor and nice coloring. 4) Great outdoor seating and enjoyed the overall atmosphere. Service was attentive and drink menu had a nice variety although it would be nice if they had a few craft beers. Cons: 1) The biggest issue and what limited this to a 3 star rating was the pizza toppings and especially the mozzarella were undercooked. It almost seems like an airflow issue in the oven because the dough had nice coloring but the cheese was still in small round disks and within minutes of sitting the pizza on the table were back to a consistency you would expect from a Caprese salad but not what you want on your pizza. 2) We prefer a cripser Neopoletana style dough and this dough while very tasty seemed chewy even though we ordered it well done and it appeared to be perfectly cooked(nice coloring and more so than pictures shown here). It is a very hardy dough and seems to stand up to the high heat and toppings well which made me think that perhaps this combined with the undercooked toppings means the oven temperature is not high enough or they have poor airflow which is key to brick oven cooking. 3) A minor issue but they need a better listing and descriptions of their ingredients. Yes you want to be like Antico and use mystical Italian names and limit toppings but having to scan other menu items to see whats available is a pain. Also when I order Prosciutto thats what I want not ham(Prosciutto Cotto). This was our first time eating here so hopefully this was a one time issue and we for sure will go back to give it another try and hopefully I can upgrade this to 4 stars!

My family and I went to eat here after an awards ceremony and were fortunate enough to meet one of the owners. He was a great guy and the service from our waiter was excellent. We ordered the chef’s special, which is literally different every time because the chef gets to make whatever pizza he wants from the available ingredients in the kitchen, and it was worth the risk. If you are looking for a good local pizza restaurant where you can sit and have your meal give Palladino’s a try.

In a day where pizza typically is a choice of Papa, Dominos, Hut, Caesar, or frozen, finding good pie is harder than hunting unicorns. Finally, really good pizza can be found in the wilderness of West Georgia. As good as Pizza Antico in Atlanta, easier to get to, better parking, and you don’t have to worry about C.H.U.D.s. So forget California and had to Carrollton for a real pizza kitchen. Fresh ingredients, hand tossed dough, and generous portions make this my new favorite pizza place.

We just found our favorite pizza place! It was delicious and we have tried many many pizzas in our lives. We both got the lunch special which is a personal sized pizza(with up to 3 toppings) salad and dessert for $ 9. We both had the Caesar salad and it was VERY fresh and the perfect size. It also came with dressing on the side. I’ve almost stopped getting Caesar salads because I hate it when they are drowned in dressing. I got my pizza with pepperoni & mushroom and it was perfect. My husband got his with pepperoni, hot sausage and olives. They are kalamata olives and he said it was the best pizza he’d ever had. We’ve been to Antico and Double Zero in Atlanta and we both think this place is better! We will definitely be back! Oh, and the dessert was zeppolli and it was fabulous. Can’t wait for our next visit! Also, service was GREAT and everyone was very nice. The owner came by and gave us a sample of the fresh mozzarella the chef had just finished. So good!!!

Came for lunch on a weekday and the place was only about 1⁄3 full. Lunch«special» is still on the high side for Carrollton but we both thought the pizza was quite good and appreciated the time the server took with us to explain some of the less common toppings. We took a chance and included some kind of pepper we’d never heard of on one of the pizzas and were glad we did. Overall, if you like good pizza and can afford it this is a place to try.

Best fried pizza, I’ve ever had. Best pizza place I have found in West Georgia after 4 years of living here. Restaurant was very clean and the restrooms were as well.

My family and I went here with some friends to be met with a great sense of authenticity and freshness. We went slightly before the usual supper hour, so there weren’t many customers present when we first arrived. However, Palladino’s started to fill up by the time we were finished. The décor of the room was modern with a subtle hint of festive Italian. There was a glass wall behind which were their ovens. You could watch them make your pizza. There was also a glass room to the side where, if you were lucky, you could watch them make their own mozzarella cheese. The waitress who served us was nice and kept up with our party of 8 rather decently. She new the menu and gave us her recommendations when asked. We decided to purchase 3 pizzas. We ordered two Regina Margherita pizzas, one with pepperoni and the other with sausage. And we ordered the Pizza Abbondanza. Once we ordered, it was less than five minutes before our first pizza arrived. We dove into this, the Pizza Abbondanza. The crust was light and flaky, evident of their ability to hand-toss a pizza. The marinara sauce on the pizza was fresh and was a perfect blend of sweet tomatoes and spices. The toppings were cooked to perfection and each one brought a different flavor that complimented each of its colleagues. The Regina Margherita was more of classic pizza. It had the same great crust and sauce, but the pepperoni and sausage added to it were fantastic! Each respective meat was cooked to perfection and left a great flavor impression on the cheese. In conclusion, Palladino’s is a great choice for a pizza place. The pizza was nothing short of extraordinary. The toppings were full of flavor and complimented the pizza, rather than overpowering as with some pizza places. While the price was a little steep, you won’t be disappointed with the quality.

This pizza joint is the absolute best wood fire pizza. I live in Atlanta, where Antico and Veruni Napoli are located, and Palladino’s is right up there with them, if not better. I love the atmosphere and the people, too! They welcome you like family. They also make homemade cellos, e.g. lemoncello, strawberry cello, blueberry, etc, and they are absolutely delicious! They host all kinds of local talent and celebrities, so all around, it is just a fun place. I would highly recommend it!

Great new place. Artisan means better. I loved the wings. Musician was an unexpected plus. Friendly atmosphere and casual. Carrollton has a new taste treat. We will return. Try the chicken, mozzarella, and peppadew pizza. OMG twice.

The only actually good pizza in Carrollton, as far as I’m concerned. The pie at Leopoldo’s is second, I guess, but I’d definitely recommend the atmosphere, menu overall, and bar at Palladino’s. This place serves real wood-fired pizza with fresh ingredients.

The pizza was good but nothing special. Better than Pizza Hut; on par or not as good as dominos. The menu needs to be more specific and greatly expanded though. They created fancy names and vague descriptions. I want to know EXACTLY what is on the pizza. Don’t tell me «mixed vegetables» and expect me not to wonder what that means. Our server was great, but the hostesses need more training. The tables are also too high. The top of the table was almost at shoulder level. It seems like a community place rather than a small family atmosphere. I’d give it two stars except sir some of the redeeming qualities mentioned.

Outstanding lunch! Where else can you go get a personal pizza with your own favorite toppings? Besides that the crust was perfectly thin and yummy like it’s supposed to be. The toppings are fresh! The dining experience was wonderful. The staff very attentive! It’s really neat to get to watch them cook pizza in a wood fired stove! I will definitely be back to try more things!

…Not sure what those 2-star reviewers were smoking, but I want some, then head over to Palladino’s when the munchies kick in! Seriously, this place is amazing, or, as good as it gets in Carrollton. Being Italian I’ve had Margherita pizzas all over Italy, and also used to live near Frank Pepe’s– what many consider to be the best in the country. I can say without question that their pizza is the best pizza in West GA. After giving Leopaldo’s manager feedback and their Margherita only getting worse and worse over time with what appeared to taste like Ragu sauce, I couldn’t wait to try Palladino’s. And I wasn’t let down, they use the real deal ingredients– Buffalo mozzarella, and some bangin’ fresh tomato sauce. Also, I’m not usually a calzone fan, but their fried pizzas are now a consistent side order every time I go, specifically the spicy ‘Vesuvio’ with amazing fresh peppers. Don’t usually order deserts either, but their deserts are out of this world. Usually canolis are way too sweet but theirs are just right. The wait staff are really friendly as well. I really want this place to stay in business because most restaurants in the town are getting pretty bland and all taste the same. Check it out!
