Policy is you must have an ID to do a spray tan. Maybe you must be 18 to get a spray tan? Okay well I guess spray tan is like regular tanning it’s dangerous to your skin. Lesson learned you will be asked for ID for one or even two sessions of spray tan. Awesome policy and John it’s okay to smile.

The people at this Palm Beach are so RUDEANDHAVEREALLYBADATTITUDES. If you say no to anything they give you attitude… I don’t want lotion. Sales should not be pushed in that way. Some people can’t afford a $ 40 and up lotion and a membership. It’s nothing personal …

Love this location!!! Most of the girls are always friendly and helpful. I have been a member at Palm Beach for almost 10 years and used McKinney, Allen and Carrollton locations on a regular basis. By far my favorite. Beds readily available or the staff is quick to turn around for continued use. Knowledgable about tanning products and will always tell you about great promotions without being too pushy!!!

I stopped in to this location as it was on my way to another appointment. I live in downtown Dallas, so this isn’t my neighborhood, but the staff greeted me warmly and were super friendly in explaining the spray tan equipment that they had as well as the price differentials. I would definitely return to this location due to the friendliness and cleanliness Thanks!

Definitely your average Palm Beach Tan. I have only done the spray tans(versa and mystic) and have never had problems with either. The staff have always been friendly and I appreciate that they don’t try to sell me something every time I go in. I rarely have to wait and it’s always clean. I’ll keep going.

Do not waste your time at this location! Not only is the staff uneducated their versa spa never works properly i’ve gone there more than five times and almost every time I got a problem with their spray tan! One day the liquid is in full the next time it just wouldn’t spray! It never fails! I am contacting their customer service and if you plan on getting in and out of there for a tan quickly don’t go to this location!

Notice that this is the only current review in the last 2 years! I’ve been using this place for 4 months now and have had an outstanding experience. I guess new management means everything and they have a New manager named Danielle. Ask for Taylor she’ll take great care of you. Out of 100’s of tanners she always remembers my name«That’s Impressive» For those of you have been to a Palm Beach before they still have the latest in beds and technology with fingerprint scanning so you’re in and out there in a snap! I’ve never had the wait not even a minute to get a standup bed and have never sat on their waiting room sofa lounges not one time an that’s a fact. Sure they try to sell you stuff but its things that you need to protect your skin and it’s not pressured. That’s part of their job description and yes you can get it cheaper elsewhere but I always seem to forget and by mine onsite. Anyway the place is like brand new the people that I’ve had contact with have treated me very well, but now that the summer’s here and my swimming pools ready I’ll probably freeze my membership which is also nice. Go in and ask for Taylor you won’t be sorry!

Staff is very pushy and they try to make you buy stuff every time you come in to tan. I switched to Cool Tanz which has better beds for better prices. I had a five dollar hold on my account because of their mistake and was no allowed to tan until I paid it! Hello your mistake not mine! Canceled my membership and went down the street to cool tanz it’s close on rosemeade and midway.

Palm Beach Tan is ok, but the Cool Tanz in the same area has newer stuff and cheaper prices. This location of Palm Beach Tan is fine, the building is relatively new but the road construction around it has been a mess at times and they definitely try to upsell you.

I quit tanning when I moved to Dallas. I really just needed to pretend that I was in the sunshine for twenty minutes, a few times a week, when I was in Michigan. It really helped my overall attitude. The only time I really wish I was more tan is when I vacation to a place where the people all look hot. For example, Miami or Vegas. So, before my recent trip to Vegas, I decided to take advantage of a coupon for buy three spray tans, get one free. The last time I spray tanned was a few years ago and I had heard the process had improved over the years. I just recall looking like an orange, and that stuff came off on all my clothing. I was hoping for better this time around. I went in with my coupon and was told the promotion had ended. Of course. Then, I was told that if I didn’t want to look orange, I should go for the«better» of the types of spray tan. Which costed more, surprise. Anyway, I got scammed and ended up paying like $ 75 for three spray tans. I tried to make an appointment, but apparently they don’t take appointments. I came back a few days later, in the evening, to spray tan and had to wait thirty minutes. Why don’t they take appts? Grr. I came out looking virtually the same. The process is quick, but you have to remember how to turn so you don’t get uneven(like Ross on that Friends episode ha ha). I’m pretty sure I forgot to turn my head at one point, but it was ok since I didn’t look tan afterwards anyway. The facility was nice and clean. That was the only upside.

yeah dont bother. waayyy pushy salespeople who will talk down to you and make you feel stupid for not wanting to buy their ridiculously overpriced crap.(actually thats any palm beach tan but whatever, this location is really bad) also they are only concerned with their commission. when i tell them i cant afford to pay so much for the lotions or upgrades they make me feel like im not good enough or something or that i shouldnt even bother tanning in the first place *sigh* anyway i was fed up with their ways so i walked across the street to a different brand of tanning salon & am getting a lower monthly rate & more flexibility. whats not to love:-) stay far away from palm beach tan unless you want to PAYEXTRA to upgrade your membership and want to be a victim of their high-pressure sales tactics.

I’ve been going to this Palm Beach off and on for the past 4 years. I used to used their actual tanning beds, but after my dermatologist gave me the guilt trip, I quit. I do Mystic Tan now for about $ 50 a month. I never have to wait very long and it is always very clean and everyone is very friendly. Good prices, good people, and new up-to-date equipment is all I need in a tanning salon.
