Robinson Salvage

Robinson’s is a family tradition, our family visits at least once a year and we give out a cash prize to the person who buys the zaniest item. It’s hit or miss what you will find, but often you can find brand name items at a low price. I have purchased crystal stemware and Earth shoes, you have to dig through a lot of junk, but you can sometimes find a few gems at a bargain price.

You will never know what you will find in this place! It can be a very exciting day, or a very disappointing one.
This place salvages items that were almost destroyed by some kind of phenomena e.g. a convenient store burned down, a truck turned over, water damaged products, etc etc. and with that, it can be a hit or miss experience, but if you miss on your first or second visit, do not ever stop believing in Robinson’s Salvage because there will be a pay day eventually!
I have found items in here that otherwise I will never be able to afford! GENUINE Calvin Klein pants, DC apparels, Billabong, Dollhouse, etc. etc. at around 40−60% off! Once, half of the store were devoted into selling antique and animé comics at a buck a piece! (although most of them were water damaged) I found some of the comics in my collection, and some dates back in the early 60s… I would have prob paid an easy 15 bucks a piece for those!
Now, most of the time, some items may still be over priced after the discount, but remember, it is still a discount ok? And if you cant afford an item after a discount, then maybe you shouldnt be buying it to begin with …
Then again…
Sometimes, what this store would do is purposely mark up the prices then add the discount to make it seem like you were saving money when the reality is, you are purchasing a slightly damaged good for the same price (and sometimes higher price) than what you would have paid for at the actual store. TSK TSK bad bad salvage store! bad!
So, be careful with your purchase, use your smart phone to look up certain items if you think the price is too high for its condition… sometimes, u will find treasures, but at the same time, you will also find crap. But never give up!
